Nice large pub with lots of outdoor seating at the front & to the side (around a 10 minute walk from littlesea havens, didn't think it had that much of a selection of beers or cider but was worth a pint in the garden

Great carvery, friendly staff and good portion sizes. One of the better ones I've been too so would recommend. Didn't try the puddings but they looked nice.

We landed at what I believe was between Carvery sittings. For the time of day it was good, but I imagine if we turned up at 6pm it would have been a 5 star meal.When we ate several types of veg, roast potatoes, Beef was ok but not the nicest. Waiting staff got us in and out fast and that's important with my small kids.However best Yorkshire I've ever had at a carvery!!

Lovely pub in its day, first impressions however a little annoying. Firstly the lady I spoke with over the phone to book a table hadn’t recorded my details, we were seated anyway. The tables are very close together so everyone is on top of each other, you can’t hear yourself talk. Waitresses find it hard to navigate. Food took a lifetime - and when eventually it arrived they had missed my starter completely. Although was on bill so had been written down…….excuse was that they were just finding their feet!! Food was ok, portion sizes on some dishes coming out looked good. My fish and chips wasn’t great. The puddings were good. Whole service is stressful as you have to flag down busy waitresses. Didn’t get asked if food was good - some staff asking customers others not. Overall a disappointing experience. Brewery needs to train and sort service. Surprised to be honest as the old owner has only just left. Never mind.

The new owners are really nice and let me take my very old Jack Russell in their pub, so we could all enjoy a lovely carvery. They even gave him some beef! The staff were really friendly. I will definitely be going to this place again and will recommend it to anyone I know going that way

Christmas carvery absolutely delicious, really good sized portions and both turkey and beef cooked very well. Service very good and friendly. Due to covid restrictions, service at table including drinks - no waiting and very quick. Definitely recommend the carvery.

Ordered the grilled plaice fillet. It was not grilled. The entire dish arrived tasteless and needed 3 packets of salt and pepper before it was edible. Large portions. Generous serving of alcohol. Long wait for food. Friendly staff

Brilliant food portions and are BIG! Will definitely come again if in the area. Staff all very friendly and helpful. If your close by do visit can’t fault at all and how cheap the prices are for the amount food you get just madness brilliant!
