The Christmas menu was great. ££ Pleasantly surprised, the salmon and crab starter was luscious. Desert (chocolate roulade) was a let down but overall fine. Will visit again

Great people, lovely atmosphere. We ordered chicken thighs with Garvey&dumplings x 2.The food was average and deserves a 3.However it’s was £ 36 for two portions. The tables were sticky. The cocktails were not right. For Circa £ 50 with a couple of average drinks, you may find better value elsewhere.

Amazing food and really attentive staff. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I was told the monk fish was fantastic too. Really nice ambiance and relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Fabulous friendly service. New menu. The Vegetarian risotto was wonderful. Friend had the Bubble & Squeak which looked fabulous and apparently was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble, staff were delightful & knowledgeable. Will be back ... best foodie meal of the week so far.

Food was great. Service was great. Staff so friendly. Arrived at 6pm on a Thursday and we were the only ones in there for a while. By 7.30 I think all the tables were full, so I recommend booking.

I ate at Vinny's at Six, a couple of weeks ago and loved it. We had starters, dinner and dessert. Each course looked like a piece of art as it was delivered. At first I was a little dubious with the prices, but felt it was value for money at the end. Great atmosphere and service, I would recommend!Parking can be tricky but the council car park at the top of the road is free after 6.

Really good place for a romantic meal, extremely atmospheric and well lit. If you are on holiday and looking for a little treasure would definitely recommend. My meal was very well prepared and desert was 10/10. My reasoning for 4 stars being my partner not enjoying her meal as much and a bit of a high price.Great service and friendly staff.

The tapas small dishes were great; I enjoyed the caesar salad bites, the salmon, and the soufflé especially. The cheesecake and sorbet after were nice and light.Their cheeseboard had unusual local cheeses; this is normally something I'd normally consider a plus but neither of us could manage the Renegade Monk's strong taste. Their blue cheese was nice and soft, though.

A hidden gem off the beaten path. I'd been meaning to go here for a while and wish I'd gone sooner. The food is fresh and seasonal, so you should get a different experience every time you go. Portion sizes are excellent and the staff were on hand with recommendations on whether sides are needed. To top it off they do very good cocktails and spirits. After talking to one of the staff about a gin and taking up his reccomendation, he handed me the bottle to take a look at! That's a first! How friendly is that! I real can't wait to go back. Prices are slightly higher than your average chain restaurant but still reasonable and the quality is we'll worth it. If you are looking for a good restaurant in Dorchester or simply somewhere to get a good drink, this is definitely at the top of the list.
