Rajpoot in West Dorset

Visited the restaurant today with my family while On a trip to Warmwell. The staff were really pleasant and we were seated straight away with drinks not long after. The food was one of the best Indians I have tasted I would highly recommend if the area.

The food betrays the worn and dated restaurant's look. My lamb shank was excellent and my friends slow cooked lamb curry ditto. Fresh and delicious chapati and naan and cold bottled cobras.

Did not like my meal whatsoever . Ordered Chicken Madras tasted like a Phal . Far too hot could not eat it . Onion Bhajees and sides were okay though . Decent service but overpriced for basic Indian food . Old story pay your money and take a chance !

The food was the most bland and tasteless I have ever eaten. However you might save yourself some respite by trying coconut ice-cream which was the only sensible choice.

Having tried various Indian takeaways in Dorchester, we now return to the same takeaway time and time again, the Rajpoot.The food is superb, piping hot, delivered on time and extremely tasty and fresh. It is however, a little higher priced than its competitors, but if you want quality the price is not relevant.

Booked a table for 9 people at my mum's birthday dinner and it was fantastic. The food was outstanding and the service was great. The bill was a bit pricey and we should of checked and accounted for everything we ordered.

A very Honest and Tasty well Cooked Curry!Was recommended to here and looked at the reviews and can say very happy with Rajpoot.The food is very nice and delicious and good food portions, and nice fresh ingredients, you can’t fault the food.Couple of things that need improvementTook a long time for the food to come out.Staff could be friendlier.And please pay with cash when you go , there card machines are set up that you have to leave them a tip and can’t continue forward until you have left a tip ( VERY CHEEKY ) 🤪 💰💰💰

Superb dining experience 👌 Loved some really delicious indian cuisines especially lamb biryani, mushroom side curry and Cheese stuffed Nan 😋

I highly recommend this restaurant! The mix seafood curry was delicious and the service was really great !!! We had a lovely evening!!! ✨
