Seagulls Restaurant in West Dorset

Very pleasantly surprised. Service friendly and efficient, food not bad at all and reasonable portion size. Good range of choices. Prices about average and overall a nice experience.Went to Oyster and Fish House in Lyme Regis the evening after, both my wife and I felt we should have come back to Seagulls for a second helping instead. Half the price and just as good if not better.

WOW!!!Been to West Bay 6 times in the last few years, but tonight we found the best restaurant in the area.Service superb.Food delicious.One of the best meals we have ever had, and the prices are very reasonable.Many thanks for a perfect meal...we will return on our next trip.

No frills, good honest food. Cheerful staff, prompt service. Would go again if I lived here.

This was one of our favourite meals out while on holiday. Attentive, friendly service. Food was excellent. My partner and I both had the cheddar crusted fish it was amazing. Highly recommend. Need to book. We will definitely eat here again.

We go to the seagulls every time we come to west bay. We so glad to see that there were open and made though locked down, and as always the food and the service were outstanding. The chief is absolutely amazing you can taste how fresh the local produce is , know one flavour over powers the rest everything is well balanced food from starter to pubbing. Just as good as any high end restaurant and definitely just as good as Rick stein restaurant. The staff are just as good friendly they know the menu your not rushed in anyway. And to top it off you can have a 3 coarse meal with 2 bottles of good wine for less that £100. We will continue to go back time after time. Its a must go to restaurant when in west bay. But make sure you book early as possible. You won't regret it.

Had a family meal here, restaurant is fairly small and can get busy at times, however the staff cope fantastically and are very attentive, the food is TRULY excellent, probably the best in West Bay, all very reasonably priced, will book again next time I’m in the area for sure.

Best meal I've had yet in my 2 weeks here, starter, main & desert all stunning, tried my partners too & they were equally as good, so much so we booked the following night, whoever is in that kitchen is a magician... can't do you justice with whatever i put... Bravo..! The girls out front serving are both lovely too... great service, so friendly and incredibly professional, if you haven't eaten here... you need to...!

Excellent little restaurant right by the beach and very cheap carpark next to it. The lady serving was very efficient and very welcoming. The food as great freshly cooked serving fresh fish daily with good coffee.
