Seasider Fish and Chips in West Dorset

If you come to West Bay you need to go to S&E Fish and Chip shop. Brilliant Fish n Chips friendly staff and the home made tartare sauce is excellent.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips, not greasy, beautiful fish, lovely crispy batter, perfectly cooked chips. Very friendly service, would 100% recommend.

Quite possibly the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. We were able to pre-order and collect later. Cooked fresh.

Might actually be the best fish and chips I've ever had. Apart from Michelin restaurants, I've never had such perfectly cooked plaice. The batter was incredibly crispy and flavourful, and the fish was beautifully soft, and perfectly cooked. Chips were brilliant too. Staff/owners were super friendly. Can't recommend this place enough - worth a trip if you are in Dorset.

Bit of a queue as a Friday evening. But we'll worth the wait, great fish and chips and good size portions , all at a fair price.

First time I have used this fish and chip shop. I phoned my order over to them and was given a time to collect. The young lady who took my order was very helpful, very chatty and very enthusiastic. When I arrived at the shop I paid for my order and within 5 minutes my name was called and away I went. The fish was beautifully cooked, the chip's were excellent and everything was well packaged. Best of all, the quality of service, the quality of food and the very good value for money means that we will definitely go again and we highly recommend S&E fish and chips.

Believe what you hear!There was the inevitable queue when we got there, but luckily we had booked to sit in the restaurant side.The lad who served us was as polite as you like.My missus had a small cod and loved it, I had a mushy pea fritter and loved it, and we both had an accompanying portion of chips. I have to say that the chips were amongst the best we've ever had. And the amazing thing - as others have pointed out - is that they aren't soaked in oil! It almost feels healthy eating them!
