A group of 7 of us visited to try the Breakfast Club. Good menu choice and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Excellent food and service. Great value for money. Will definitely be going again!

The place was empty and no decaf latte available. Not a good option for me. Had tea. Doubt I'll go again.

The choice and quality of the food was superb. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was excellent. Very reasonably priced and also Covid compliant. Well worth a visit.

Really nice relaxed place to eat, good choice of food and friendly staff who were happy to answer any questions. We stopped for lunch and food was served quickly and was very nice. Facilities clean and tidy and there is a lift available if needed.

Went in just now for a coffee and snack. Board outside advertised cafe was open , but when I got upstairs to the cafe it had been completely taken over for a private meeting. Not a single table free as they had been pushed into one huge table for the meeting. I told the women in the shop that they shouldn't put the board out advertising the cafe as open if it wasn't. She said the meeting should have ended before 10 am and the people attending should have left, but there was no sign of anyone leaving. Absolutely appalled. Their loss is Taste's gain as I went there instead, as Taste know how to treat it's customers.

Cafe very good and relaxing with lovely food it is attached to The Shire Hall Historic Court House Museum which was a very interesting and interactive experience for all ages. All staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Kept us busy for several hours plus good value for a family at £20 and you can return as many times as you like through the year on the ticket. They loan out pads to take photos and do quizes around the exhibits, there are clothes to dress up in in the court so you can act out court proceedings. You can also borrow headsets for a guided tour. The court house is famous for the trial of the Tolpuddle Martyrs ....all very interesting. The only thing I'd say is they maybe need to advertise themselves a little better outside the building as you could easily walk past not realising what's inside.

What a lovely place to enjoy a coffee or lunch. The cafe is very tastefully furnished and totally in keeping with the building that hosts it. Rustic charm with solid wooden tables and chairs which are well spaced and not cramped. The menu is varied with the option of the day’s special. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are very good. There is a huge range of teas to tempt you as well as very good coffee. The food is well cooked and presented, and not to mention tasty. The staff are very friendly and helpful too, nothing is too much trouble for them. With a lift from the shop the cafe is also disabled friendly. I definitely recommend that you visit this light and airy cafe to sample its atmosphere as well as the excellent food, including homemade cakes, and the range of drinks and even ice creams.
