Sundorbon in West Dorset

We were on holiday in the area and searched for a local takeaway with decent reviews, we thought we'd give this a try and wow I'm so glad we did, everything was absolutely delicious, I was still raving about my garlic chilli curry the next day, I don't really like mega hot food but it sounded so good I thought I'd give it a go and I wasn't disappointed, so full of flavour with just the right amount of heat. Really wished we lived closer I'd be there every week!

Wow, what a great service. I made an error on my order and Tina went above and beyond to make sure I got my order and I can't thank her enough! The food was lovely and the service was absolutely amazing. This is my new go to Indian and will definitely choose to order from here again in the future!

Superb take away. Pilau rice had cinnamon bark and star anise in it, so made with real spices. Madras was medium hot with beautifully thick sauce. This curry was carefully prepared and it showed in the taste. Thank you.

A bit of gem. The food is very well prepared. nothing gimmicky, just quality. For example the rice was decorated with spices not splashes of food coloring. Each dish distinct and flavorsome. It feels authentic. The staff are friendly too. If only I lived in Bridport!

We ordered a takeaway and when I arrived the restaurant was full and there were other takeaways in progress. The young staff were charming and apologised for the short delay for my collection. They were working flat out and it gave me a chance to see the food produced to the tables. Everything I saw looked well presented and appetising Our own takeaway was well labelled and the portions were a good size. The food was absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed our meal. We will now be taking friends thereto dine in. Thoroughly recommend

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and experienced fantastic customer service - thank you to all the staff who served us you are a real credit to the restaurant. Best curry I've had in ages!! In the area for a holiday and after arriving later than planned, decided on a takeaway dinner. This place ranked high on Google suggestions and did not disappoint! Collection was quick and easy despite the restaurant being fully packed, the organisation speaks volumes. The amount of veggie options was incredible! The food was gorgeous and filling, in a light satisfying way, rather than the usual takeaway heavy feeling. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting from near or far!

I ordered my food on the Sundorbon app which was very easy. I chose to collect my food. I paid on the app which was pretty straight forward. Within 10 minutes of ordering I received a phone call telling me that my food would not be ready by the specified time. So the Sundorbon told me a time that it would be ready and we agreed that time. I arrived on time to pick up my food. I arrived to chaos from the gentleman behind the bar telling me my order was ready then it wasn't. Then a very polite young lady called Tina came along very professional in her manor and went to organise where my order was. She apologized and explained to me what was happening. I had to wait a extra three quarters of a hour for my food turning away two taxi's. I can tell you now that there are too many systems working here from taking orders for food and drink on tablet devices using POS/EPOS this is causing confusion and delays with staff and it would help if certain members of staff don't stand around chatting after taking the orders on the tablet's and start serving. The only member of staff that saved me not getting a refund was Tina. Thank you Tina for all your help.

Been having fab takeaways from here throughout lockdown so we treated ourselves to dine in. Staff were friendly and the restaurant looks fab. Was recommended a few dishes to try and chose the lamb dhansak and it did not disappoint. Great flavours, great atmosphere and great service.
