We are a group of 3 bikers, always on the hunt for quality eateries and this joins our list. Clean, tidy and reasonably priced. Staff were attentive and welcoming. Food was of a good standard and the bread pudding was absolutely delicious. Definitely will be back👍

Lovely friendly cafe, felt like a local. Great food and tasty tea!

·

Nice outside seating area. Gluten free bread. Great chunky chips. Good fish finger sandwich. Will definitely go back to try the cakes.

·

Nice coffee and good cake. Made slightly more challenging where you had to go back inside shop to pay - and masks are mandatory... Did seem odd when they took orders outside. All in all, a nice find.

·

Nice cafe and friendly staff. Good selection of cakes, scones and breakfast sandwiches during our visit.

Ordered 4 sandwiches, at a cost of over £25, to take away. The same price as eating in, just without the salad. We could not have been more disappointed. Dry and bland, cheap grated cheddar, mediocre ham, a token spread of chutney, and 6 crisps tossed into the bag.I called and complained to the owner who defended the quality. She suggested that I should have gone to a supermarket. She was right, a supermarket sarnie would have been significantly more tasty. Give this rip off den a wide berth.

First, the positive: the place is clean and the staff helpful and friendly. I don't often give reviews lower than 4 stars, but 2 things pushed me over the edge this time. Burger priced at £11 on specials menu was of poor quality....frozen chips and a greasy gristley burger on a soggy bun. The beer I chose to accompany it was a 500ml bottle of local beer....PRICED AT £6.50!!!!!! Wow!! If this is not exploitation of a captive public, then I don't know what is. Lovely area, lovely holiday but this was by far the most overpriced place I have eaten in for a long, long time. Also, please bear in mind this cafe doesn't have a premium location.....it's not beach front or in any position which could possibly even partially excuse the pricing.

We had coffee & cake today. To be fair, the staff were friendly, the food looked good and everything was very clean. Unfortunately, to us the coffee was weak, bland and disappointing. The small square of lemon drizzle cake I had was tasty, but I'll not be rushing back for another piece... sorry.

Found this little gem just before we went fossil hunting. Really great food and the staff were really cherpy and helpful.

Well established and fabulous family run café close to the beach front. Drinks and food are all reasonably priced. All the sweets and cakes are made fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Can get very busy but its worth the wait. Opening hours differ in the winter.
