The Bell Cliff Restaurant and Tea Rooms in West Dorset

We visit Lyme every year and always have a full breakfast at The Bell Cliff on our last day. Food and service are always excellent and this year was no exception.

Stopped by for a coffee, tempted by the cream tea. Absolutely delicious and very good, prompt, polite service. Highly recommend

What an amazing find. We went into a few other places on the high street we didn’t fancy before landing here. We were very lucky we did. Nice busy atmosphere (even at the end of Jan), great views and AMAZING food! We had a tuna sandwich and a cheese, ham and apple chutney panini. They are absolutely delicious and the quality of the ingredients were fantastic with generous portions too! Added to that the service was fantastic too. You must go here when in Lyme Regis!

We came with my Australian friends who were all vegetarians and keen to try some proper English countryside foods . Actually we expected average taste only . But we were blown away with the quality of food here on 2nd of Jan . The waitress gave our little doggie a treat before she even give us the menu which impressed every one of us . We came around 2.30pm and they still welcomed us . The chips , the tomato soup , the burgers , the salad and the list goes on as we struggle to find anything that is less in taste . The cosy ambience and warm welcoming took us to next level . Well done team for all your hardwork.Definitely a credit to Lyme Regis Will be back soon .

Warm welcome, attentive staff, with good old fashioned service.I was lucky enough to try the ham, which turns out they cure it on the premises.Food was fabulous and I will definitely be back.

This is a lovely place to eat. Great for snacks, cream teas or meals. Friendly staff, great service and good food.

Had a lovely breakfast here with my partner, I had the veggie breakfast and he had the normal fry up. We sat outside and enjoyed the amazing view. Service was fast and friendly, and they even brought out some treats for our puppy. Food was delicious, and reasonably priced.

Cozy local restaurant in a neat location set back just behind the beach, serving meals throughout the day. The food and coffee offerings are pretty standard, tastewise just ok and coffee is ordinary, but service is good and the place seems like it's a long standing staple of the area.

Had a wonderful meal, my husband had mussels with a creamy sauce and chips. I had whitebait with salad. Both of our meals were very generous portion wise, so much, my husband couldn't eat all the mussels! Attentive, but unobtrusive staff, very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.
