Couldn't recommend this pub enough. Very friendly staff, quick service and our meal was absolutely delicious. The pub is located in a nice quiet location with plenty of parking. Inside has a lovely warm rustic feel. Definitely recommend a visit!

I love this pub because they do really good gluten-free roast beef It was a bit tender & juicy which is a good thing. In my opinion that I couldn't cut it very well because it was a bit stiff & I did manage it alright. But half way through the meal I did ask my dad to help which Is a good thing. The side dish of vegetables:1. Carrots (it was overcooked but it was a bit buttery which is a good thing & it melts in my mouth & same with other veg when it was overcooked)The drink I had was white wine because it goes really well with beef. The pud I had was cheese (Blue Vinny, Cheddar & Brie when I tried 3 cheeses it was very creamy & it melts in my mouth which is a good thing & with gluten free crackers which was very tasty & crunchy which is a good thing. But what's disappointing that I didn't try the grapes because it was frozen & the best thing to do is I couldn't risk it to eat it.Apart from that I enjoyed it.And I am being honest about it which is a good thing. One last thing is the bill was a bit disappointing because of the total & I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not.

Visited twice at lunch time. Very good menus. Food is excellent and very well presented. Friendly staff. Ideal meeting place as located just off the dual carriageway. Could take the dog too.

This is very much an old pub with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Generally full of locals but they don't turn to see who has come in. Good food too. Been going back here for over 20 years. Long may it keep going.

Lovely pub with an excellent food! Cosy atmosphere, rightly sized seating area , "few yards" from the main road, yet you are being teleported to a beautiful South of England country side! Highly recommended!! Pork belly- a treat I say!

Fantastic village pub. Food is really good and the beer garden is large and has a good play area. You can take your dogs in the beer garden too as long as they are kept on a lead. Doom Bar was on tap last time. Pizza oven looks tempting too.

Menu correct March 2019Warm and friendly atmosphere, nice staff happy to have a chat or leave you too it, dedicated menus for diary and gluten free reasonably well priced nice selection of beers and ales.Garden area is a little scruffy but it was early spring so not really used, plenty of heaters in a covered porch area out back for smokers and the like.Had ham eggs and chips which was very good.
