Idyllic country village pub with great personalities and super tasty food, just perfick !

By chance we pulled into this country pub and enjoyed an excellent beer in the huge garden. The pub itself was clean warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly smiling and helpful. A real gem of a pub.

Good home cooking style food. Definitely not mind blowing but very tasty and friendly staff although they ran out of ice which wasn't ideal on a warm evening.

Our third stay at this gem of a pub B&B. Dinner on both nights was exceptional. The menu is more inventive than the usual pub fare and it was hard to choose which course we enjoyed the most! Room was comfortable with plenty of space. Places of interest a short car journey away. A friendly team and good service.

From the first contact with this lovely Inn I knew we had found a gem. They happily accommodated a group of 14, in a private dining space, but we still felt part of the Inn and they were really welcoming and friendly. The service was great and the food delicious. I would highly recommend eating here and maybe next time we’ll stay over! Thank you for a truly wonderful Sunday lunch and for helping us celebrate our Uncle’s 80th Birthday.

Lovely little country pub tucked away off the main road. Food was fantastic, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back next time we're in the region!

Booked this several months ago, turned up last night to find our table had a personal reserve tag on it which made the meal start well.Food was great and the service was excellent, nothing was rushed it was a lovely relaxing meal

Lovely country pub always polite & cheerful staff. Sometimes spoilt by certain locals sat outside swearing loudly when all you want is a quiet drink.
