The Cornish Bakery in West Dorset

My partner and I have been living away for 5 years and couldn’t WAIT to get back to try a vegan pasty. It did not disappoint, was absolutely divine and we will definitely be back for another very soon! Highly recommend!!

Always go here for excellent coffee ever since they opened, but today very poor service by two giggly assistants who took ages to serve , take away coffee cup was only half full very disappointed. Served up a coffee that no one had asked for and long queue waiting. Hope it is better next time

I grew up in Cornwall so I can appreciate a good pasty .. the staff are excellent in my opinion. Mostly I have been served by a lady called Nikki who is very helpful and pleasant to interact with... I am an adult with autism and I struggle with public interaction but I've never had a problem here. ... They also do vegetarian and vegan options.... I definitely recommend them

Large range of pasties to choose from here, we chose the large traditional cornish pasties and tea to take out, (indoor seating also available) they also sell a nice selection of cakes. The pasties were very full, hot and tasty. Just how a good pasty should be. Tea was hot with good flavour and a full cup, to make life easy lids were put on cups and a cup carrier was provided without even having to ask. Staff were friendly and helpfull.Will be back for more.

This is by far the best coffee in and around Bridport and West Bay, especially if Sabina makes it. The smooth, comforting consistency and taste that she achieves is just SO GOOD. We hope that the rest of the staff learn how to make it like she does and our local friends all agree. The staff here are always very welcoming, polite and cheerful which all goes towards making a truly enjoyable experience.

Special trip back to West Bay today for another pasty from the Cornish Bakery! Bacon leek & cheese was fantastic as was Thai Chicken, and all served up by the lovely staff. Definitely recommend, some of the best pasties I’ve ever eaten 😍😍

Visited this cafe many times and have always been happy! Delicious choice of pasties and the hot chocolate is amazing! Great service and all the staff are always helpful and friendly. Will definitely be going regularly!

Oh my, where to begin, this place is fantastic, so welcoming, good grub and even better smiles. You're made to feel like a VIP each and everytime. I frequent West Bay purely because of this place. I have never ever left unsatisfied

Perfect flat white to take away and have a walk along the beach and the pier. We picked up some Cornish treats to take home from holiday too which were very well received. A much needed face lift for this corner of the Bay. Will be back!

What a lovely friendly place, staff are super friendly and professional. So clean and food very well presented . Really excellent coffee and the pastries and cakes are to die for. The Cornish Pudding which I have never had before was amazing . Highly recommend everyone .
