nice pub with amazing food in a small village.Definitely a foodie location... probably the best scallops, I´ve ever had..

·

A beautifully presented pretty pub. Very friendly service. Food amazing. Traditional fish and chips 'taken up a level' for my hubby. Scallops for me cooked to perfection. Local ale and own cider makes this place a 'come again' certainty

Stop bye as my great great great grandfather was apparently the landlord in the 1700's.Lovely staff great drinks and fantastic food. So glad we visited

What a gem of a find. Lovely little village with this fab pub in. Lots of local brewed ciders and beers on tap. Friendly staff too. Beautiful cosy old place. Decor and toilets to a high standard. And outdoor tables proper clean. Recommended. And it should be in the good pub guide.

The staff could not have been more welcoming when we decided to celebrate our Golden Wedding with a meal at the Elm Tree. A complimentary glass of fizz was provided and followed by a delicious meal that tasted as good as it looked. Throughout the service was attentive without being overbearing and we were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived. If we didn't live so far away (Derbyshire) it would certainly be our first choice every week for a delightful night out.

We called in whilst walking on the coastal walk. We saw a sign that just said Elm Tree Inn. We hadn't a clue what to expect. But we discovered a beauty. The setting is delightful, it's set in a small hamlet with one a thatched roof. The staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all the food and drinks. We loved the atmosphere and quality of food that we've booked to return next week for an evening meal. We left feeling that we'd had a really relaxing lunch and it made our day.

We had a glorious meal at the Elm tree tonight. Jack our server was brilliant, friendly and very knowledgable!Food was incredible and great compliments to the chef! It was full of flavour and the portion sizes were very generous!!!Lovely location and the gardens are well kept and to top it off our little pup was also well looked after. Dogs are welcome if kept on leads indoors and out. They are offered complimentary water and biscuits for their visit, which you are free to help yourselves to!Overall great evening out at the elm tree and we are already planning our next trip back. Thank you !

Excellent Gastro pub hidden away in a tiny village off the beaten track but it’s well worth seeking out. A lovely period building very tastefully decorated offering a great choice of locally brewed beers. It has loads of outside space in a well kept garden. The menu is short but the quality is excellent using locally sourced ingredients. This is the best pub in the area by far so you would be wise to book. I would highly recommend giving this place a visit.
