Fab pub with local real ales, really friendly and helpful staff and superb experience. Pat and her daughter could not be more friendly and we're great for recommendations for things to do on a rainy Dorset day. 😁Ps food looked fab to.

We visited for lunch on Father's Day, it was very quiet. However the staff and locals were friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent.

This pub was amazing!! The staff were excellent and friendly. The whole feel of the place made you feel very welcome. The food was really good and so was the price. My husband and I enjoyed our 2 evenings here so thank you.

Stacey and team couldn't of been more accommodating & welcoming! We turned up on Sunday 2nd Jan hoping for Sunday lunch after checking in to the brilliant Berehayes Holiday Cottages (a 5 minute walk away).Although they weren't serving the traditional Sunday roast - because, as Stacey apologetically explained (& of course it made perfect sense) no one wants a roast this close after Christmas (🤦🏾♀️) - Pat, her mum & Sunday chef, made a lovely meal of homemade chicken nuggets & chips for the kids (4 & 5yrs old) with juicy & REAL chicken!Husband & I had scampi & chips, chicken burger & chips (homemade tartar sauce was the star for me) & again was lovely. Dessert was also tasty & hit the spot!Thank you Stacey, we're looking forward to visiting you after our swim tomorrow 🤞🏾!

What can I say. We just made it to the campsite, and the clutch went on the campervan. The landlady Pat and her staff were amazing, they couldn't do enough for us, we are so so grateful. The pub was lovely and the food was yummy. The campsite was great and it had all the facilities you need, toilets, showers, washing up area, we had a lovely weekend . Xxxx
