The Gardeners Retreat in West Dorset

My wife and I went here this morning for breakfast great tasty food good portions and reasonably priced. We are both disabled and the staff were so helpful. Will be backThank.you all

Cracking restaurant next to the garden centre. Quality and value always consistent. Always great selection of cakes and other goodies. Hard working and helpful staff, Daddy is in a wheelchair, we always get looked after. I also belong to a Carer's group, we meet here weekly. Owner has always been very flexible and accomodating to our group, and other groups. Suggest other places could learn from this place.

Lovely breakfast here, very generous portion and everything nicely cooked. Access to the garden centre, nice clean toilets, plenty of seating, adequate car parking. Could be a bit better signposted on the road as it isn't made very clear exactly where to turn into the car park if, like us, you are unfamiliar with the area.

Lovely cafe. Only a basic range of coffee which let's it down but the cakes are delicious. I didn't get to try the breakfast or the roast dinner but I've heard that they are very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. As I am disabled I cannot carry my own tray and the staff always helped out without questioning my request.

I popped in here for a quick bite to eat and a coffee. I was very pleased with the young lady who served us. She was polite and listened to what I was asking for. I had a great cappo, just the way I like it. Will happily go again when I'm in the area.
