Now that is a veggie burger fed up with a fob off amalgam of junk. Eat this a remind yourself how good veggie can be.

I read the reviews of restaurants in Dorchester before we arrived and Georgie's ranked really highly. The reviews all raved about their pies so we made a booking and turned up on time - 19.30. From the outside it doesn't look all that, in fact from the side it looks almost derelict but the front was a bit better maintained. The staff were great and very knowledgeable about the menu, apart from what was vegan. The vegan option wasn't all that tbh so if you're vegan, this probably isn't the place for you. They don't have vegan pie crust so it'll be served in a ceramic dish with no pastry. My other half loved his lamb and mint pie though. The local cider was lovely, they had about 10 different ones on offer. The place itself is very quirky, there were tables pushed to the sides with loads of board games, star Wars toys and other games and models, kind of like they'd had a toy sale earlier in the day. My food wasn't all that but I'd go back as it was a fun evening.

Best pie I've eaten, hands down. Staff were really friendly. Don't be put off by the outside decor , it adds to the quirky ambient feel to the place. I'd ring and book a table as it can get busy. Cider menu are large I'd suggest trying the 5 glass they offer as a package ,if you like Cider that is.

Amazing pies and starters/desserts are also scrummy. A great find on our weekend away with family. If you love pies you'll love this place. Also do fantastic burgers.

A difficult review as the evening was tainted by other guests. Shortly after our arrival a group of 14 (all male) arrived and the rest of the evening was filled with foul language and shouting making what could have been a great evening quite a let down.The service was second to none. A full explanation of the menu was given on arrival and recommendations were made. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and other than their lack of taking control of the noisy group we couldn’t complain.The surroundings are quite quirky but welcoming. I’m not sure if the owner runs an internet business selling models but their were a lot of toys on several tables.The food was amazing. The pies were well cooked and tasted amazing. The burgers were the same. I would definitely recommend the tato tots! The desserts were also tasty and huge as well.Overall, I would return however the fact my daughter was intimidated by the other customers took the edge off the evening.

Honestly the best Pie I have ever eaten and the service is amazing

Absolutely outstanding pie! Totally full to the top with tremendously flavoured filling...and then some more on top! The Cajun fries were incredible too - so moreish!There's an awesome beer and cider selection, and to top it all off the owner and staff were really friendly. Very highly recommended.

An incredibly delicious meal, both the burger and pie were without a doubt 10/10 could not pick a favourite if I tried. All made and cooked fresh to perfection and presented beautifully. The whole place had a lovely atmosphere aided by the waiter’s exceptional attentiveness, helpfulness and friendliness, a true professional who really knows their stuff and goes the extra mile to ensure you are happy.

Wow absolutely scrumptious. Love the way the guy serving us laid the plate of food in front of us like it was a masterpiece. Stood back and said enjoy 😂 which we did, very much so. Best pie I've ever eatenStacks of filling, delicious thin crispy pastry.About 20 pies for choice plus mains and amazing burgers. Cannot overstate how good this place is. Burger and a pie in one meal (although you can order separately). Great concept - couldn’t say no. And the quality of both was exceptional. The care and effort the kitchen staff put in really shows. The pie was incredible. The burger was incredible. Don’t know which I preferred but they were both 10/10. I just wish I was local so I could eat here every week. Or every day. I’m salivating just writing this. Take me back. Now! The prices were very reasonable. Even the waiting staff were highly professional. Waiters normally just take your order and bring you your food but this guy was like a pro. Highly highly recommended.
