We popped up for their first Mexican food day.Safe to say it was absolutely fantastic, the portion sizes were huge and the taste was delightful. The service is friendly and the staff are always smiling.Drinks wise the choices are wide ranging, some lovely draft beers. This is the best pub in Chickerell, hands down.

What an experience!Great atmosphere, best Sunday roast any of us had eaten (except for my wife's Sunday roast). Good service.19 of us, plus a dog, from 18 months to 80 years, celebrated the 80th birthday with a Sunday roast, desserts and drinks and with gluten and dairy free requests. A lot of organising. All went superbly well.Thank you.

Nice place. Didn't eat there but definitely improved since the last time we went a few years ago.

Spotted a small sign on the road to Sea Barn Farm campsite, so decided to take a look after pitching the tent. It's well hidden in Chickerell village, but signposted on the sides of houses. We arrived and it looked closed with no lights on outside and no sign of people. Parked up and went in the front door, to find people inside. The bar is right back from the door and on a raised seating area, invisible as you arrive. Friendly and helpful staff, lots of locals and a good atmosphere, it feels like a fun place to live near. They were open, serving food and allowed dogs, which is becoming a theme of my reviews. There is plenty of space inside, a good size public bar and lots of tables. Good selection of beers on tap and the menu had all the important pub classics. Burger and chips, ham egg + chips, plus the kids had their smaller basket meals rather then something of the children's menu. All the food was good, really nice burger. Everyone thought the chip were excellent and portion sizes were generous. Our beers were great and we enjoyed our evening in the Lugger Inn.

We stopped for lunch at the Lugger Inn on the 15th May 22. The food was amazing; lots of choices including vegetarian, good size portions, and it was delicious. The best pub meal we've had! The staff were lovely and friendly too, hence 5 stars.

Nice and quite location but not without the car. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The room had coffee making facility with coffee, tea bags and milk. There was too much chlorine in tap water and the shower was too powerful with no flow control. No light in the car park and night time it was dark to see anything.

Friendly homely pub atmosphere, good selection of beers food etc. Nice beer garden. Lots going on. Enjoyable experience.

Very much the centre of the community and impressive to have created this in only two years during a lockdown. Room comfortable and clean with good shower. Food nice 'pub' menu with good vegetarian choice. Was a party night with live music while we were there and very loud-but did finish before 11pm.

Stayed at the Lugger following a private function. Room 9: Big room with a jet bath in the room. Room needed a little updating in comparison to the room my parents stayed in. Had a dresser with a light, stool and a mirror. Plenty of tea and coffee. 1 star off the mattress

Stopped for the night upon visiting family, fed up of the hassle of London life and this short rest was a breath of fresh air. Food on point, atmosphere was nice throughout the bar and dine in area. Quick service both bar and food wise with friendly staff plus the jacuzzi bath was a bonus to bubble away the stress
