One of the loveliest places to eat in the area! Food was amazing and so was the view. We had the mushrooms and spinach on toast and it was absolutely delicious!!! Staff were welcoming and very attentive. So glad we found it - this is going to become our go to spot! :)

You pay for the location at this establishment. We ordered the burger, which had a lovely flavour, but unfortunately more bun than burger. Having paid £1.50 extra for blue vinney, so sparse the flavour did not come through. Not enough coleslaw and served on a child’s plate. The fries are ‘rosemary’ fries. Not a hint of rosemary to be seen or tasted. On my plate the fries were in a clump. The fish was lovely and fresh, albeit a small portion. The table next to us had two dogs (which is absolutely fine in theory), one of which barked continuously until fed ‘people food’. At one point one of the diners taking half a burger patty away to wash and then proceed to feed it to the dog, paws on the table top. Barking then resumed. For dishes of £17.50 and £16, it’s not worth the cost. Near on London prices for a pint as well. We’d have expected better management of the establishment and care with the food. We weren’t the only guests disturbed by the other guest’s pets.We felt compelled to state our position and received the price of the pints off of the bill, which was nice.Mediocre experience for the price and blasé staff

Lovely location, good menu. Excellent service. I had the yogurt and Berry's, unfortunately the berries were way too sweet. But everyone else enjoyed the food. I would recommend.

We came here for lunch today and the food was absolutely delicious. We loved that the vegan options were different to the usual hummus sandwich/bean burger you find in lots of places. We shared the vegan red lentil burger and vegan fish & chips. Our son had tomato pasta, and the childrens pasta was delicious too. The chefs definitely know what they're doing, we were very impressed! The staff were great and attentive, even though it was busy. Thank you for a wonderful experience

We had a wonderful lunch time meal at The Lyme Bay during half term. They were very busy and told us there would be a wait, but it was well worth it!!Staff were attentive and polite, drinks and choice were wonderful. And the food...amazing. The House Burger was declared the best ever, the children's fish and chips was generous and cooked beautifully and my chef's special grilled mackerel on toast was one of the best meals I have ever had. Truly amazing and well priced. Thank you for a great experience and glad you could fit us in!

Nice cafe, very popular.Staff didn't know what cakes were dairy free though, and didn't offer to go and check until pressed.

Lovely meal. Had vegan fish and chips! Made from battered banana blossom. First time I've had this. It's something different! Good menu, something for everyone. Fair prices.Friendly staff. Busy, popular restaurant. Some outside seating overlooking the water, which would be nice on a warmer day.

What a wonderful restaurant! Six of us went for lunch last Friday. We had a great table overlooking the sea on a gloriously sunny day. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We all chose something different from the menu and agreed the food was absolutely delicious, especially the fish and chips which were top quality. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Lyme Regis.

Easily the best fish and chips we have ever had. The food was amazing (especially the cakes 😁). The staff were great considering how busy things were while we were dining. Very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend you give them a try if you are in the area.

Beautiful location, delicious food, great atmosphere and welcoming, efficient staff. We thoroughly enjoyed their crab sandwiches served with proper crisps and salad leaves. Clean unisex loos (allow time for your eyes to adjust from sun to shade).
