Have just been here today. Asked for prawn with Marie Rose sauce - no sauce also egg mayo and bacon but very little bacon and the bread was very dry around the edges. Very disappointed!

Crayfish baguette OK, could of done with more filling for the price. Customer Service Rubish, rude arrogant man, what shame. Today for lunch.

Grumpy and gloomy staff. Not even busy and still a 20 minute wait. Baguette was basically from tescos but was over £5. Do not recommend!!!

Had a crab baguette and crab salad box, both excellent quality, quantity and value.

Lovely crusty baguettes, made to order, and compostable take away cup and packaging. Good value for money

Stumbled upon these people while walking through Lyme Regis. Simply lovely baguettes and sandwiches were made to order, really nice. Recommend.

This cafe is run by a nice couple. The 50's atmosphere really worked and the owner/managerss had a look that was like a 1950's film star. I had lunch and went back for a cuppa on my day trip because the prices were so good. Recommended.

Lyme bay sandwichThere seem to be a lot of gullible people reviewing this place. We were sucked in by the promise of locally sourced fresh crab etc. Sadly what you get is far from what you would imagine. A crab sandwich for £4.80 was one slice of bread spread thinly with mushy crab. It could have been from Tescos. And I do mean THINLY spread, and very ordinary. I tried the crayfish salad box which contained about two measley table spoons of tasteless crayfish, again could have come from anywhere, and a large amount of plain salad which filled up the rest of the space. All for £5.80! Sheer extortion. We love our seafood and this was tasteless, expensive and with measley portions. Like a lot of places in popular seaside resorts they can rely on a fast turnover of people who are unlikely to complain. People pay their dosh and think it's great. Well not us, and we wouldn't bother ever again

Billed as locally sourced produce.BUT. the sandwich I received was some mashed up crab on stale Kingsmill bread and they had even had the cheek and greed to use the end crust. Avoid this place.

Doesn't matter what the food tastes like, isn't worth waiting twenty minutes in a queue of five or six people?! Becomes a game like when you wait for the bus, it's been five minutes might as well just stay now... Wish I'd not bothered!
