A triumph of a restaurant. Perfect tapas in an intimate, small scale restaurant. The staff are amazing. Thank you!

We had a lovely time at The Strawberry Tree - on arrival you can choose from pre-pared tapas or from the menu. The food was tasty and the service attentive. The adjacent garden is so lush and welcoming!

What a wonderful meal we shared this evening at the strawberry tree. Giselle and Ed have the perfect combination of ambience service and great food and wine. Paella is highly recommended...it's really tasty and authentic. We'll be back....soon!

Great little café with beautiful courtyard seating next to the stream that powers the watermill. We stopped for a coffee (cappuccino and a flat white), had a seat in the courtyard garden. My wife and I both thought that the coffee was the best that we'd had in our 10 days in Devon so far.

The location of this restaurant is truly beautiful and we savoured every moment that we spent eating in the beautifully verdant garden. The food, like the venue, is also excellent here. The sauce that came with the calamari was a little different to what I am used to as a regular eater of tapas, but it was actually better than what I accustomed to. Very importantly, the service was also wonderful: our waitress simply couldn't do enough for us and was flawlessly attentive. My only criticism, and this is nitpicking really, is that the menu could be a little more extensive. However, that could be down to me being used to a very big one at my local Spanish restaurant back in London and being a bit spoilt. Overall, definitely visit this place when you're in Lyme Regis: there's no way you'll be disappointed - especially if you decide to have a dessert too!

Lovely spot by the stream adjacent to the mill, friendly staff, really good coffee, and delicious, easy to share and order tapas in the mill complex with lots of independent businesses and local artisans about. Back garden is the place to sit, eat, chat and enjoy the stream.

Seafood Paella with dessert on Friday night! A little disappointing as was a bit stingy on the ingredients. 3 prawns in the whole dish for 2 people, some mussels, peppers, onion and rice. At almost £40 really poor value. Also lacked flavour needed some chorizo. If not for the delicious dessert wold have given 2 stars

Tasty food and very good wine. It's a family run restaurant so felt like going to a family home for dinner. There was no rush and we took our time and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Would definitely recommend and will be back when in Lyme Regis again
