Dinner out - there were 9 of us - the welcome was excellent, service great, menu selections very good and the food was superb. Would definitely recommend.

was a lovely quick meal .They squeeze us in as we had just travelled down from London. The food was to die for .the best cottage pie ever.my partner had his first goose egg .definitely be back.

Extensive menu with large choice of very different dishes.My fillet steak and trimmings was the best I've eaten for a very long time.My dog and I returned in March 2022, this time we're allowed inside pubs. The fillet steak and bits & bobs was again excellent.As usual, apologies for the photo of my meal with bits missing because I tucked in as soon as it arrived.A few days later we were there again. I had cheesy mash topped cottage pie and veg, then meringue, cream and various fruits. Again all food (and the Palmer's IPA) were excellent.

Have just had a fantastic lunch here today. Really tasty food, a great menu and all reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommended. Quite out of the way though but don't be put off by the roads, it's worth it. Best approached from the A3066 via Brad pole.

Came here for the first time this evening. Fantastic food excellent service,superb waitress. Was our first time but will not be our last.

Lovely people that run this hotel. Stayed there over the bank Holiday weekend 2021. Food was amazing. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Service was fantastic. Will always book here as a first choice. Thanks so much for a lovely weekend

What a wonderful anniversary they gave us! A nice quiet corner. The flowers, Prosecco and strawberries all waiting for us as requested. The staff were a delight and the food delicious. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Went to meet up with some friends and the food was delicious but for me the portion size wasn't too filling (I had cottage pie) it tasted great . There is a big garden with kids equipment and it's situated away from any busy noise allowing me to really relax. Thanks for a great time.
