"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. To get the most up-to-date notices on our re-opening, keep an eye on our Facebook page."

Very good value for money. Nice place. Old fashion pub vibe.

Always a lovely welcome, food was good

We rang and asked if we could reserve an area for guests of a Baptism. This wasn’t something they usually did so they created a buffet spread for us and reserved the back area and it was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and the area the of the pub was perfect for our small group of guests.Lovely afternoon and the staff was so accommodating, especially as the buffet wasn’t normally offered so they really went above and beyond to do this for us! Thank you 😊

Lovely pub, friendly and welcoming. We called in for Sunday lunch, they had a private party going on. But they still provided us with a delicious Sunday lunch.

Lovely pub, room was very clean helpful service and friendly from the moment of arrival will deffo be back again thankyou

After paying £75 for the room we were very disappointed, with the standard of the cleanliness of the room, the toilet seat and system were very loose, no toilet roll holder, there was a pack of cheap toilet tissue you get in a public convenience, the cups didn't fit on the saucers, the one blind was broken. On a positive note the bedding and towels were clean, but on the whole we were very disappointed with room 1 at the back of the pub.

The patio outside the back is delightful with fresh geraniums on each table.. a terracotta pot for those wishing to smoke.. fresh drinking water was brought out to our dog.. extremely friendly staff.. food was delicious.. well presented and hot.. the beef burger was excellent, perfectly cooked.. good menu choice..Definitely recommend this pub..The overnight accommodation is well worth a stay.. friends stayed Saturday night and were extremely happy.. all in all.. I highly recommend this pub it won't break the bank and you can eat drink & sleep for the price of a double room a few yards away...

Stayed here 2 nights best prices in town!!! Very clean and love the towel layout :) Felt very welcome great friendly staff. One staff member reeled off a list of foods she recommended we chose one of these options and food was fantastic!!! Was here for the entertainment on a Friday night and the atmosphere was amazing even when really busy the staff still got everyone served quickly and efficiently definitely going to come stay again loved it here. Very knowledgeable on where’s the best places to visit nearby for walks etc highly recommend.

Lovely pint of beer well looked after.Tasty great value and well cooked food.Engaging bar staff with personality who are very attentive and thoughtful. Offered to dry our jackets as it was tipping down.Thoroughly recommend the mixed grill washed down with a pint of Brakesbear. All the meat was tender and moist. This was on a very wet Thursday lunchtime.

Booked to stay here big mistake..the pictures on the web are nothing like the rooms. We arrived on friday and was told No food,No parking and music till 3am in morning so also No sleep. Filthy room a pair of folded towels on bed does not give a michelin star. Holes in walls, pictures and mirrors missing off walls and ceiling lights have signs of electric fault. You would be better giving your £85 to charity and sleeping in your car. We demanded our money back and eventually found last room at premiere inn at weymouth seafront.
