Fabulous little cafe, food was fantastic. Lovely atmosphere and great value.

·

A very nice town centre cake (other things too) & coffee house.

·

Second visit this week must be OK or would have given it a miss.

Having lived in the Dorchester area for several months now we've made a habit of trying different eateries while shopping to see what might become our favourite spot for breakfast or lunch. The Pantry is the first place of the many we've tried that has moved me to want to post a review. The breakfast was good and fairly priced for what we received and tasted good. The atmosphere was also pleasant. However, The reason I have given the establishment a five star rating was the quality of the customer service. The owner/manager? Was very attentive and there was a good number of staff on hand for such a small establishment. We'll definitely be coming back for more, although as there are still plenty of eateries to go it's still too early at this time to say whether this will be the one... Just yet! :-)

I was our pleasure to try this little café / restaurant in Dorchester in December 2021. It was clean and tidy and well presented. I had a toasted sandwich my son had the soup and my wife had baked potato with cheese and ham. We had a selection of hot drinks, I had a hot chocolate with oat milk which was delicious. We all had cakes too for desert (my wife had a gluten free cake). I was pleasantly surprised when I got the bill so left a healthy tip as I know these little gems have suffered due to Covid. Will definitely visit them again when I'm in the area.

Stopped here today for a spot of lunch. Really lovely jacket potato and side salad. Really friendly staff also.

·

Nice spot for a coffee and bacon roll. Staff was absolutely amazing. Thank you guys for doing such a positive ambience ❤️

Good location on main shopping street . Small business with plenty of outside seating. Toilet up small staircase & not suitable for anyone with movment problems or children .Looked quite rustic hence why we stopped.Coffee was ok but was disappointed with sausage roll said hand made @ £2.20 . Looked and tasted like mass produced bought in and heated . service was friendly .Given feedback as ok nothing to moan about but nothing to make stand out .

Absolutely fantastic place to eat in Dorchester, I had a large flat white and a lovely piece of Christmas cake. It was quite late in the evening and I didn't feel rushed to get out as it was near to closing, staff were very chatty and polite. Will use again

Stopped off here today for coffee. Cannot praise the staff here highly enough! They are so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Fantastic selection of delicious cakes and treats. Overall we really enjoyed our visit here and will be sure to return on our next trip to Dorchester.
