This score would have been lower but was saved by the food!We had to wait 45 minutes after our booking time to get the table and the toilets were filthy.BUT, I will be back as the food was absolutely perfect and made up for it. Compliments to the chef!

Amazing food and a great location. Nice views over the garden. Staff friendly and attentive. I went for the steak and mushroom pie in red wine sauce which was very tasty. Decent portions 👍

Food here was nice, i had lamb burger and rhubarb crumble off the lunch menu. Staff were quick and pleasant. I wouldn't mind a bit more flavour, richer and punchier.. Make sure you get a table for about 12 on a hot day otherwise you'll be stuck in a hot spot as there are quite a few without shade. One group left a dog outside and the lovely staff put up a giant umbrella and gave the dog some water which was really sweet

Wow..what an amazing mothers day evening. We hired one of the wooden huts. So cosy with the fire. Fabulous setting with great ambience. Music and games. Jenga was hilarious. 7 in our group. Loads of room. The food was delicious. I myself had the sea bream and mussels in the best sauce ever ! The roast dinners were large with lots of different vegetables. Our waiter Sam was brilliant. We never felt rushed and nothing was too much trouble for him. Rebooking for my birthday in July. Thanks to you all at The Pear Parley.

Really nice food, staff were polite and friendly. Although a popular venue we were not made to feel that we had to hurry our meal. Quality of food was excellent and with decent sized portions. Prices were also extremely good and wouldn't bite your wallet. Well worth multiple visits.

Fantastic! We had a lovely lunch this afternoon. Liver & Bacon, Sea Bass, Whitebait, Duck in Filo pastry, salads, vegetables, and delicious desserts. Everything made to perfection and beautifully presented. Staff were really present and delightful. Would highly recommend, and will return!

Nicely decorated homely gastro-pub. Screens were up to separate the tables.Amazing garden with some cool looking huts available for parties.Excellent selection of food on the a la cart menu, and was all reasonably priced. Good variety on the dessert menu also.Food tasted very good - I had the lamb shank which was pretty tasty and definitely one of the best red wine jus I've ever tasted!Very good portions overall, perhaps bordering on large..Staff were friendly but service was a little slow at times.Would recommend and visit again!

Had a fantastic family meal for my birthday. The lunchtime menu was superb. Potions excellent. Taste sumptuous. Priced brilliant. Will definitely be returning, truly lovely food, place, staff. Extremely helpful as I'm coeliac and for my disabled mother.Never been before & will be looking forward to next summer for the garden experience.
