Where is The Pymore Inn?

🏠 Pymore, Bridport DT6 5PN

"A charming country pub, nestled in the hills and fields of West Dorset, just outside Bridport, near the Jurassic Coast. Outside, we have a large walled garden offering al fresco drinking and dining during the summer months. Inside, there’s a wonderfully inviting atmosphere to our bar, with its cosy fireplace, 1930s radio and old pine settles. As a free house with an eclectic food menu, there’s something for everyone - offering a broad selection of real ales and ciders, boutique spirits and great wines. This is, unashamedly, a pub for all seasons. Families and children, cyclists, walkers and dogs are all welcome."

This is a great little pub with a very nice garden for eating and drinking. Lovely attentive staff and great food. Menu could do with a few more changes and perhaps a few less pickles in the recipes. Thoroughly recommended, especially if you want a change from the many pubs owned by breweries!....

Stopping here for lunch on Thursday we found the most hospitable and friendly welcome, accompanied by probably the tastiest burger we have ever had and a perfect pint of Otter. Then the coffees were simply wonderful. This is somewhere that we will go out of our way to find again. Many thanksto you wonderful people.

Fantastic last minute lunch. Food was amazing, staff were very attentive and welcoming. It’s also dog friendly which is a huge plus for us and our puppy was made to feel very welcome by the staff even given a dog biscuit. Would definitely recommend it’s a lovely setting. Will return again.

Great country pub and super food. Very homely atmosphere and quality home cooked menu. With the fire too, makes a very nice winter warmer of a place.

Had a very late Sunday lunch here on 28th November. The roast beef dinner was epic, despite the lateness of the hour and the fact that there were 9 of us. Well worth a visit

Lovely dinner at the Pymore Inn - a couple more vegetarian options wouldn't have gone amiss but my partner thoroughly enjoyed her meal nonetheless. The food exceeded our expectations - we just went for the nearest pub to our accommodation and were pleasantly surprised with the experience.

The Location was stunning, offered great Roast dinner (vegan option too). The service was also faultless. Would recommend anyone to The Prymore Inn. If we were local we would be there every weekend!

Always a pleasure to visit this lovely place in Bridport! This is my second time coming after being here once with some friends and had one of the best Sunday roasts I’ve ever had!We booked a table for lunch on the Bank holiday Monday but turned out we were the first ones in any way. The place only offered pizza on the day but there are some good options on the menu. We did worry initially that we would get those massive takeaway pizzas which we could never finish, but what came is a nice surprise. The pizza dough is homemade and the toppings are just perfect. I have never finished a pizza so quickly with how tasty it is! My friend ordered the one with buffalo chicken and honey hot sauce which has a bit of a kick, I have a bite and it is equally delicious too. The chips are also a good side and served hot. They didn’t have a dessert menu when I asked but the waitress did give me the options on the spot which I opted for the chocolate brownie, which certainly does not disappoint. It tastes divine and has a bit of saltiness in it which balance out the sweetness.Overall a truly enjoyable meal again, with lots of green around and a peaceful place for casual meals with friends and family. The staff are all friendly and attentive too which makes the whole experience even better! Must visit when I’m down in Dorset again

Excellent food and service. Probably the best and largest Bass I've had since I caught my own many years ago. Lovely garden
