Lovely pub. Went to a Ukraine fundraiser there. Place was packed.

Surpringly good. Doesn't look much from outside and quite understated but nice pub. The staff were pleasant and food really good - lovely fish platter. Would happily go again.

Friendly, comfortable pub. Most important serving a range of Palmers beers.

We went in on Wed as it was in the good beer guide, staff were fantastic and very friendly they fell in love with our dog Lilly. The food was excellent and the beer too. Good luck with the national pub of the year. Dave, Carol and Lilly. 😊

Great menu, warm welcome and a lovely interior. Recommend the burger with blue Vinney cheese. Really dog friendly

Lovely pub with cubby holes and eclectic ceiling and Rock memorabilia. Good food, real ale, garden, live music and mic nights. Well run

Went on Saturday for the first time.Had a very nice visit. Greeted by the great barman, a local lad who was very knowledgeable and friendly. This is a proper pub with well kept beers and a good range of gins. Nice to see the beer served in proper dimpled glasses aswell!!Highly recommended for a relaxed drink in a nice atmosphere.Peter Mellor.

We stopped for lunch on a Tuesday and the menu selection was good. Delicious local halloumi-alternative burger with a generous portion!Lovely outdoor space, that seems to be reasonably extensive, with much of it covered to offer rain and sun protection.Ordering at the bar now permitted. Perky staff and happy to help.
