Lovely village pub. Great food. Well priced. Good service. Pleasant staff. Chef happy to make a blue vinney cheese burger for a small levy.. yummy. Will be going again. Ridiculously its last orders are 9:30pm. And they are proactive at kicking you out at 10pm

Something always seems to go wrong every time I visit here. Usually it's the service but that was excellent this time. It was the pudding with a curdled moose this time. Well, I'm not sure it was curdled but the texture was all wrong and I had it swapped for another pudding and wasn't charged so all OK.

You know what... Literally phoned 20mins before, bearing in mind it was Mother's day Sunday. Happily Squeezed me in my wife in and the lamb roast was magnificent, roast potatoes crispy well presented and, great vibes. Found us a little sun trap table outside and, we had our dinner with a nice ale. Shame I was in a rush, but was in at 1430, had the great feed and, nice Sunday ale was out by 1500. Thankyou guys lovely pub! I would recommend a visit. I'm going back sooner rather than later. Efficient and, great traditional family run, friendly country pub. See you next time!

Just enjoyed a very nice lunch there today. Good menu, food was well cooked and nicely presented. Service was efficient and all of the staff were pleasant. I definitely recommend.

A lovely meal for me and for all my family. It's only occasionally we dine out and recent pub lunches in other Dorset venues have been disappointing. The roasts (we had beef and pork) and desserts were really tasty, filling and good value.

Great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and although basic delicious no frills food. They also give the option of a smaller appetite on some of the menu. What's not to like? GO GO GO!!!!!
