The Squirrel Inn in West Dorset

Called in late, yet the staff/management were friendly and accommodating. We were able to order drinks & a meal which was delicious. We will happily visit again. Also the views are stunning.

Nicely located with wonderful views, good food and ale

Booked for a Birthday meal as staying locally and it came as a recommendation. However, as soon as we arrived we felt like we should have left. The staff instantly started talking about us and staring over to our table making the whole evening uncomfortable. We stuck it out as it was a long day.The locals sat next to us were just as bad. Food was good, except a pizza at £10 which was extremely over cooked. We didn't complain as it was already an uncomfortable visit.If you want passing trade, teach your young staff to be polite.

Visited the first and only time, staying in a holiday home nearby and it was recommended. The whole experience was very average.

Good food great beers and a beer garden with great views

We went into the Squirrel for a drink and decided to stay for Sunday dinner because the pub had such a nice feel about it. The young bar staff were polite and professional. Our food was very good quality and great value.

Very nice country pub with great food. There's a small but very well looked after ales. Large selection of spirits and larger and Cider. Staff where very polite and a very warm welcome. Thank you.
