The Strawberry Tree in West Dorset

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit, especially as we were attracted by the Spanish tapas aspect of the selection available. There was plenty of choice, and we found our selection beautifully presented and very tasty! Also the wine menu was extensive and showed an excellent knowledge of appropriate wines.The staff were so welcoming, pleasant and efficient in settling us in, as well as bringing the food, and helping us in making good choices. Altogether it was a very pleasant evening.

Amazing Tapas! Food is outstanding!Fantastic service, great wine menu, and as a vegertatiam cannot recommend this place enough.Our friends aren't vegetarian but only chose one meat dish even though there were plenty of fish and meat dishes available.A memorable evening with friends in a lovely place in a great setting. Had a fantastic meal at the Strawberry Tree tonight. Service was so welcoming and swift. The tapas was incredible, we had 7 dishes to share between the 3 of us & were left full and more than satisfied. We had the prawn pil pil, Pork belly, chicken, beef, black pudding, potatoes & chorizo sausage - all incredible & couldn’t have removed any from our experience. The red wine was spot on too. Thank you!

Called in for drinks over the busy Easter Weekend.The venue is really nice and the menu looked fantastic, just wish we had time to stop to eat.The service was really good and the owner very friendly. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely time at The Strawberry Tree - on arrival you can choose from pre-pared tapas or from the menu. The food was tasty and the service attentive. The adjacent garden is so lush and welcoming!

What a wonderful meal we shared this evening at the strawberry tree. Giselle and Ed have the perfect combination of ambience service and great food and wine. Paella is highly recommended...it's really tasty and authentic. We'll be back....soon!

Great little café with beautiful courtyard seating next to the stream that powers the watermill.We stopped for a coffee (cappuccino and a flat white), had a seat in the courtyard garden.My wife and I both thought that the coffee was the best that we'd had in our 10 days in Devon so far.

Tasty food and very good wine. It's a family run restaurant so felt like going to a family home for dinner. There was no rush and we took our time and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Would definitely recommend and will be back when in Lyme Regis again
