This is a lovely little cafe/ restaurant on the edge of West bay very near main long stay car park. It's a partially hidden gem and simply the best place to eat we have found in the area. My wife had lovely cream tea, very generous portion with clearly homemade (and rather large) scones. I had gluten free Dorset Apple cake which was so fresh with a huge dollop of clotted cream. Lovely decaf coffee and nice pot of tea. Very reasonable price. They do a good range of main meals as well, all looked delicious. If you check out all the reviews you will find quality and price is a consistent theme. Definitely worth a revisit

Lovely mothers day lunch. Ploughman’s was great value, with some yummy blue vinny! Grandma cleared her plate!

This is THE place to go for a cream tea or afternoon tea! Food was delicious. Service was excellent, staff super friendly. We had afternoon tea and every bite was so good, everything very fresh.

Delicious and generous cream tea. Two fresh large, soft scones served with a really good sized portion of clotted cream and jam. Great value for money too

Fabulous cream tea only £5.50 and lovely staff. Definitely book as it's very popular and understandably so!

had a bacon roll here the other day and although the bacon roll was nice, there was a lot of mud in my salad that came with it. So didn't eat the salad. Would have been five star if it was not for the mud in the salad.....spring onions full of mud and the salad was not fresh, it looked as though it was chopped up several days before being served.

We arrived only just before closing and ordered to take away, the staff were very accommodating and even joked with us whilst our order was made. The scones were delicious and came with plenty of cream and jam, the caramel flapjack (pictured) was also great.I’d highly recommend this place.
