Wow, the best cottage pie I've EVER had. American burger with pulled pork also outstanding. Called in on the off-chance. Meals came quickly and staff were lovely. Can't wait to come back.

Return visit after 3 years nothing much has changed I was going to say in need of an update but this is going to happen later this year, modernisation put back because of the shut down. Nice dog friendly pub ( bar area only ) the food is excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient. Looking forward to a return visit next June.

We had dinner at the Turks Head tonight. Both the steak and the sea bass were lovely. Even though it was really busy the service was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return when we are in the area.

Great pub. Nice atmosphere. Clientele friendly. Landlady lovely and friendly. The chilli is the best I've tasted for years with plenty of beef and just the right amount of heat for me personally.k Will definitely go back.

Truly excellent food. Roast turkey here is the most succulent and tasty I’ve had anywhere. Veg also well cooked and still had a bit of bite not over done. Generous portions too.

We went to the Turks head for dinner tonight and had the most amazing experience. We both had a carvery which was really delicious , and to be honest the best we have ever had. The meat was juicy the veg was tasty and fresh and we also had a pudding which was lovley. The beer was good the service was good and the food was amazing. We are staying in a pub down the road and ate there last night which wasn’t great so we were really happy to find this little gem just 5 mins walk. Highly recommended.

Couldn't rate this place higher! After spending over an hour on our feet searching for a restaurant along Weymouth Beachfront which was family friendly and reasonably priced we were exhausted and out of luck.We decided to drive back to our hotel and found this Absolute Gem on the way!The pub was beautiful, very tidy inside and out and the food looked delicious. It was very busy, we asked if we could be seated but they were fully booked. The lady who greeted us went out of her way to do some rearrangements and get us a table!I had my 9 year old son with me who was very hungry and tired after a long day of sightseeing, so I was beyond grateful that she went the extra mile to accommodate us!The food was absolutely amazing, the portions were very generous and all the staff were lovely, friendly and hospitable.Food and drink were served quickly and the prices were incredibly reasonable!I only wish we lived nearby as it would certainly be a regular family night spot!I'd strongly recommend this pub to anyone in search of a comfy seat, a friendly face and a delicious meal.

The Turks head is a regular restaurant that we always look forward to visiting when in Weymouth, however this year was rather disappointing. On arriving the car park seemed to have a lot of litter around the edge, leaves needed sweeping up and bushes trimmed, there were old fridges and scrap metal on one side of the carpark and the kids play area and small animal petting cages were empty and the play equipment had been removed and in its place were nettles and weeds and the gravel where play equipment once stood. The outside tables seemed untidy and dirty with ashtrays needing emptying. There was a table top indoor football game outside that had trim and bits hanging off of it.Inside seemed tired and in need of some love, the local artists artwork was all missing from the walls with empty hooks where art once hung, and the furniture needed varnishing & attention.Other restaurants in Weymouth seem to have used the lockdown time to refresh and refurbish their premises but the Turks head seems neglected & as if it had just sat shut during lockdown. The table and area we sat at smelled a bit of wee, and the back door was broken and damaged. The staff were friendly and helpful (as always) and the food was up to the usual high standard that we’ve come to expect & look forward to at the Turks, hot and tasty and generous sized portions, the menu had a lot of varied choices compared to slimmed down lockdown menus else ware. The donner kebab was lovely, & a meal for 3 adults & 2 kids cost £80 with one beer and 4 cokes and no deserts or starters. All in all a disappointing visit, we’ll be doing a drive by before reserving a table if I can persuade the family to return on our next visit.Sorry, trying to be positive but struggling.

Found this pub by accident 😳 & what a gem it is. I had a medium cooked steak my Wife had the sea bass with mash & veg & my daughter had the fish fingers. It was all well planned out your protection. You wait at the door & the very polite lady takes your name, number & temperature of all in your party. Thanks for a great experience.👍👍
