The White Lion in West Dorset

Well what can I say, popped in with the kids to watch the football and was made to feel so welcome. Really friendly pub, didn’t have food but looked great and and an amazing team working there. Well done, more pubs like this who generally make tourists feel like locals - thank you, we will be back!

Manager who looks like a washed up david Brent has the decorum of a dumper truck reversing backwards. He kept fiddling with his balls in between serving. Very inappropriate, won’t be back not clean

I'm absolutely shocked by the attitude of the bar man tonight on the Monday of the May Bank Holiday tonight. He needs sacking

Comfortable pub, friendly staff, TV sport, real ale plus lagers. Clientele pleasant and mostly under 40 when I've visited.

Wow I love this place!!!, considering my local pub is the Coach House Inn within Winterbourne Abbas. The Whites atmosphere feels a lot more welcoming and friendly and the food and drinks are on a different level.

Nice and friendly staff and a really tasty hamburger. Love it!

Nice welcome. Really friendly staff. Good beers. Good for kids. The chef was really nice too and they were happy to make smaller portions for the children. The food was above average and the Sunday roast was a good size and very tasty. Would definitely recommend.
