Great live music on the day and lively atmosphere. Good selection of local ciders and ale too. Pool table, 2 skittle allys darts cricket and football pitches and a really big function room available to hire for weddings parties etc.

Called in on spec after just completing a 5.5 mile family walk courtesy of the AA 50 walks in Dorset series and was made to feel most welcome by the manager. The clubhouse sits in an elevated position although exposed which affords it some of the finest views in Dorset from the patio terrace from where we watched the sun go down. The bar area is bright, airy and modern accompanied by a woodburning stove. Had an excellent well kept pint of real ale and local cider for the wife. Although the local village is less than a quarter of a mile away, it didn't seem to be well supported by the local population at large, even though it lost it's own pub many years ago, which is a shame as they should think themselves lucky to have such an asset on their doorstep. Would highly recommend if passing, the only snag being the sporadic opening hours which the manager stated to consult their website beforehand. Non members welcome.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the TSSC from staff and locals, we loved it. Particular thanks to Heidi and Pete who are fantastic hosts, thank you. Highly Recommended 😎

·

Fab as always. Lovely atmosphere and views. Lovely village club also enjoyed by surrounding areas

·

Venue for all sports, weddings, wakes, christenings or just a bloody good drink!!

·

What's not to like, very friendly, fantastic location with distant views, logburner inside the welcoming little bar and snug. Large function room, further facilities you would expect at a sports club for football and popular place to watch 6 Nations Rugby on TV.

Great, friendly club. Fantastic venue for parties, weddings or other functions. Plenty of parking, reasonably priced bar, equipped kitchen and lovely countryside location.
