Town Mill Bakery in West Dorset

We have had lunch there twice and both times the service and the food were excellent. The menu has great options to satisfy just about anyone and the meals are served with a smile. Overall a great experience.

We had a great brunch at the bakery. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food options were excellent and we all loved what we had.

Trying to be something it's not. We've been here a couple of times and each time have left disappointed. The issue is the food can be great but when something goes wrong it is the service that let's it down. The first time we sent a pulled pork sandwich back three times as they got the order wrong (I mean, how wrong can you get it!!!!). Second visit, two sandwiches served on brown bread, not white despite them offering us a choice. I flagged this mistake to the staff and they said they don't have white bread. The side salad felt like it was dressed in water and made the sandwiches soggy and difficult to pick up. The issue with this place is the staff. They come across as pretty arrogant and care free because if you flag an issue they don't want to solve it or make you feel like brown bread is fine vs. The white etc. It is expensive but I don't mind that if you get quality food and service. Unfortunately you don't. We won't be going again. Plenty of better choices in Lyme Regis

What a breakfast. Fresh and great quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. Generous portions and brilliant service. The best breakfast we've had in a long time. Loved my eggs Florentine and the Baker's breakfast was delicious too. The baked beans were something else too! Went home with some delicious cakes and bread.Cannot recommend it enough.

Great food and very friendly service, delicious vegetarian options but the beef brisket was a hit too!

Really lovely place. The food was awesome and had a unique touch to to, so was very impressed.They are very friendly and are accommodating to dogs too. Our little cocker spaniel got the luxury treatment with a few treats, dog mat and a water bowl all brought to her.We were looked after too with a nice heater outside.The food was really nice. I would actually give an additional star to this place.

Even if Lyme Regis wasn't so beautiful, this place would still make it worthy of a visit. Freshly baked bread, great coffee, local food, lovely vibe and staff. I had a very simple but enjoyable poached eggs on sourdough toast. My little boy loved his pancakes and maple syrup.

Great food, excellent coffee and really good bank holiday tunes. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were helpful. The service was pretty quick for a Bank Holiday lunchtime. My husband had the Turkish Eggs which were delicious! The kids sandwiches were a generous portion made from the best sourdough bread.

I love a cooked breakfast, but this place takes it to 11 and beyond.The food is AMAZING. Quite simply the Best cooked breakfast I have ever had (and trust me I’ve had a few!!).My wife had poached eggs on sourdough with a side of mushrooms and I had the sausages with beans and poached eggs on sourdough. Absolutely perfect eggs and fantastic sausages, proper home made, not out of a tin, beans in a proper tomato based sauce. Delicious. Don’t plan to eat for the rest of the day!!!!! You will be full!!!Get here early and queue as it is worth it.The best, quite simply!
