Very nice food and very friendly staff.

Really enjoyed the food compared to others in the bay. Fish was nice. Curry sauce and mushy peas were also good. Chips were fine but they aren't fresh cut chips. Saw them bringing in frozen bags.I would just go for the fish and some of the sauces. Would return because the chips were ok considering. Good portion size

Great fish and chips, juicy and tasty fish, with crispy jacket and soft fluffy inside chips. Card only which may be an issue for many which is why I have removed a star as it becomes less available for alot of elderly. The price is quite high but with a great service.

If I could leave a zero star review. I would.I’ll give you 1/2 a star for the fish.Guessing it’s frozen also.Like your 30 cousin party bag of frozen chips from farm foods.Hand on heart it’s the worst chips I’ve had, from anywhere in the world. Why can’t you just serve fresh potato’s that are fried. The staff chop of the top of the frozen chips and throw em in the fryer, then nip outside for a rollup, then back in and serve em up.Very disappointed.

Best freshly cooked cod & chips we have had in a long time, even more so as it is near the sea. The cod was hot meaty and not at all greasy. The Batter was light and crispy and chips perfectly cooked despite being very busy on the hottest Bank Holiday Monday Post lock down. Staff very friendly and helpful. Internal covid measures just right, customers appear to have forgotten whilst queueing which is becoming common place. Noticed a for sale sign hope it doesn't lose its quality if it is sold on. Excellent which is unusual from me - Thank you and good luck for the rest of the season.

Came here for something to eat on a wait and return taxi fare. I went to the cabin that had the no 8 on it. Absolutely tasty freshly cooked fish and chips. Was absolutely perfect, the cod fell apart and was moist and melted in the mouth. Chips were really tasty too

First stop for wonderful fish and chips when we arrive at west bay. The fish is always so fresh and tasty as is the rest of the cooking. Love it

Nice staff, very good bacon roll, ok chips (pretty tasteless) and horrible tea (milky and weak). Prices are fair and food is made to order so both a plus but sadly, let down by the chips and tea.

Such a lovely place to visit.... West Bay! After an exhilarating bike ride and the need for refreshment, great food and not too expensive coupled with friendly staff....A*****

Stopped for a quick bite in West Bay and picked a random chip shop. There are several on the harbour edge, all with similar menu line-ups. The fish was excellent, chips would have been nicer if hand made (not frozen) but overall good value for money and cooked to order.
