Really nice pub, restaurant and accommodation. Excellent choice of beers and cider, lovely food and rooms are well equipped and quite luxurious; especially love the walk in shower and 6ft bath towels!Enjoyed the stay very much and of course, the views are some of the best in Dorset, even though they are of Somerset! 😊

Wonderful Pub, especially on a Sunny day as the views from the garden are spectacular. Food is good but more choice would be welcome for vegan/ vegetarian preferences. Dogs welcome inside and out.

We had the loveliest weekend staying at Winyards Gap Inn - all the staff are brilliant (especially the new manager, who is just lovely) and the food and drink was top-notch - in addition to a great range of beer and cider, there are a fair few alcohol-free options too. Inside the pub is lovely and cosy, and there's sheltered outdoor seating and an incredible beer garden too, with the most stunning views. I could have sat there all day! The room was very comfortable, and all areas are dog-friendly - our little dog had a lovely time too. Breakfast was great, and a special mention for the chef who makes the best scrambled eggs I've had in a long time. One thing that would be nice would be if a little more information on the local area could be provided in the rooms - our signal was pretty poor and the pub WiFi didn't quite stretch to where we were staying (although in many ways that was quite nice!) so we had to be fairly tactical when it came to sitting down and deciding how to spend each day - a guide book or a few little pamphlets could have helped a lot! Overall though, I'd be back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for such a lovely weekend!

Delicious host's cheese and onion tart and sweet potato fries with sour cream, cooked to perfection. My husband had the burger and chips which he said was ok. The view is amazing.

A great visit. The food was excellent and the staff were really attentive and friendly. Seemed nothing was too much trouble, we were made to feel very welcome. It has changed very much since our last visit, it has been refurbished and has a very cosy atmosphere.

Visited on local recommendation, not disappointed. Food was delicious, very welcoming staff and even though we should have booked for the Sunday roast the selection available was very good. Thoroughly recommend the lamb flatbread, accompanied by a large glass of chilled white.
