Zizzi - Dorchester in West Dorset

A very nice Italian ambiance with mouth watering food which worthy of your money.

I'm normally against visiting these national chains but they had room for a last minute large party. They were busy when we arrived and there was a nice atmosphere in a lovely placeThe result was a surprisingly very enjoyable evening all round. From the start, service was great, menu interesting and food good.May even visit again....

We visited here Saturday night for dinner, we phoned ahead and booked a table with ple ty of time however on arrival there was another party who had also booked who were waiting also, we had to stand awkwardly in the doorway while a table became available, I'm not sure what the point in booking is if they're not able to ensure a table is free at the agreed time. Once there was space we were seated in a very traffic heavy area which meant we were a little on edge throughout the whole meal, having people constantly walking around you whilst eating isn't ideal. The food however was good, the service was really great, the (I think the head) waitress was really knowledgable about the food and informative, her service made things a lot better, the price was a little high, dinner for two and two drinks came to £70, we left feeling satisfied and would most likely return but probably a week day evening or lunchtime to avoid the busy time.

Another amazing zizzi lunch, 5* for everything, my daughter rated her pizza 1million out of 10! The service was brilliant we had Dean again & couldn't fault him, even though it was busy we were well looked after. Already planning & looking forward to our next visit 😊

I love going to this restaurant because they do really good gluten free pizza. When I ate that pizza the cheese melts in my month & I loved it. It was the best pizza ever!!!

After over a year and a half of waiting and moving houses and areas, we finally got to spend a birthday present voucher we were gifted at Zizzis in Dorchester today. Travelling from Yeovil was quite simple. As we had only visited Dorchester once before many years ago we were pleasantly surprised by the shopping and parking facilities. Once in the restaurant the interior decor and the ambiance inside was calming and relaxed. We were served immediately and had Olives and pasta crisps with a glass of prosecco as we sat down. Then we had three courses each with a glass of red wine which seemed good value. The food was filling and of a good standard and the waitress and Manager were extremely attentive to us throughout our meal. I would definitely recommend this Zizzis as a place to visit as a destination venue for couples and family together. Covid-19 regulations were all adhered to by guests and staff. Thank you so much Zizzis for making our joint birthday memorable today. We will be back.

The food was good. The staff were friendly. Overall a lovely night out. There is a wide selection on the menu so everyone can find something. Its also worth remembering that you can use tesco vouchers here against your food bill.

Good to be back!A group of us had a very pleasant evening at Zizi. The food was good and didn't take long to come. I opted for the spicy chicken which was tasty although not really hot in flavour. Our waitress for service was delightful. The wine was delicious. It was good to be out again. The rules for masks and Covid check in were a little over zealous. But that will change next week. Overall, a very good evening.

To the point restaurant. Never had the large pizza, but maybe I should have. They looked amazing. Friendly staff. Medium to higher price. Decent vegan options. Delicious gin and pesto.
