Great fish and chips happy service

Visited whilst staying at Doniford Haven - good prices and good food. Proper chips is important. And proper batter.

Andrews Chip shop is definitely the best one in the surrounding area and produces a great tasting value for money fish and chips, as well as all the other usual items.Warning, chip portions are anything but small !

Used to be our go to local chippy for over 20 years.. unfortunately no longer. New ownership, tiny portions and the majority of our chips undercooked. What a shame!! Would not recommend.

First time there only got some chips but very clean place very fresh looking food will have to go there and have a proper chippy night dinner.

Chips overloaded with salt to the point they were inedible - had to throw away - staff need training to watch how much salt they are adding- recommend you don’t ask for salt or vinegar but use your own when you get home. To be honest Watchet lacks a good chippy and has for years - if you can go to Alcombe in Minehead it has two great chippies that serve proper chips - not pale undercooked ones

Superb delicious freshly fried cod and chips. Tasty fish cooked in front of you and lovely thick chips. A must have when you are on holidays in Watchet. Didn't manage to make proper picture as we wanted to get into our food so fast.
