BEST WESTERN Northfield in West Somerset

My parents have been coming here for 27 years they love it,I went with my mum.Fantastic place staff are so friendly. Would highly recommend visiting . Definitely going again in August now😁.

Beautiful surroundings and not a KFC or hamburger joint within miles of the place. It’s a quiet leisurely place with swimming pool, steam and sauna which is free for guests. Food is good but one negative the rooms are too warm. Solved that by opening the windows. If you want a quiet time away from it all, worth a stay

We spent 2 nights in this lovely, old hotel.Our room was clean and had tea/coffee making facilities as well as a hairdryer.We had an ensuite bathroom with a shower over the bath.All the staff were friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble.The buffet breakfast was plentiful.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Thank you

What a great hotel.Rooms were big. Booked a family room, got an extra room for baby. Main room massive with plenty of storage.Restaurant staff and food were brilliant. Staff friendly and helpful, the food was perfect.Highly recommend having a stay here.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a long weekend. It's in a central location within easy walking distance of the town centre and seafront. It has plenty of free parking and a lovely garden. On site there's also a small gym, sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool which guests can use for free. The restaurant and bar are also open to non residents. We stayed on a half board basis and the meals were of a good portion size, attractively presented and delicious. The braised steak was the best I've ever tasted. Staff are friendly and helpful too. My only criticism is that the venetian blind in the hallway of our bedroom was very dusty and there were quite a few cobwebs on the ceiling and one of windows. However, I would still award 5 stars despite this as we had such a pleasant break.

Went with Parrys International to the hotel for a Christmas break. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was excellent different choices every night. The pool, steam room and jacuzzi worth a visit. A lovely quirky hotel that still has lots of original features which makes it more interesting than the usual modern square boxes. Nice walk through the gardens down to the promenade and town. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our Christmas stay at The Northfield. The hotel is exactly what we expected from a turn of the century house (personally we both enjoy the history associated with old houses). Dinner and breakfast was served in a fabulous oak dining room efficiently and nicely presented. Bedroom was huge andwith a large well equipped bathroom and seaview. The hotel is close to town, with lovely gardens. Our only grumble is Christmas evening fell flat after a lovely buffet, everyone was looking around for something to do. We think we needed some sort of interaction as a group Or outside entertainment

Was a brilliant time away , customer service was spot on, very friendly and helpful. What they had to offer for breakfast was very impressive and tasted very good. Pool , steam room and hot tub were brilliant. Bed were very comfortable had some impressive views in the morning and evening. Rooms were very tidy , apart from a few spots but wasn't an issue at all .

Lovely hotel, rooms clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Heated towel rail, fluffy white towels. Swimming pool, steam room and jacuzzi enjoyable. (we didn't use the gym). Food good, especially the evening meal, menus changed daily so ate in the hotel every day.
