Wide choice, good kids menu, helpful, friendly staff worked out at £10 a head. I'm not a fish and chips fan but everyone else said it was good, hot and tasty.

The worst fish and chips I have ever had. My daughters chicken burger looked like it had been cooked hours before or even a day before. Chicken strips tough went in The bin. Expensive and rubbish. Compared to a rival chip shop in the town which gives you value for money and is also edible..Sorry Bampton you have let yourselves down.

Great selection of vegan takeaway items and traditional fish and chips. Freshly cooked to order with polite staff. If you're vegan make sure to ask for their tartare sauce as its made with vegan mayo.

Got to be the worst cod&chips I have had in the West Country ever.The chips were so dry must have been lunchtimes leftovers and the cod if it actually was was just lots of batter which had been fried to quickly so gooey on the inside.Was swimming in oil and if I was blindfolded would have thought it had been fried in a Chinese takeaway.Krispies of Exmouth would turn in their fish fryer at this total carnage.

Chips were alright but the chicken burger was a right mess they didn't listen and put salad in when I asked them not too and the chicken were just a little strip and it was tough. Didn't enjoy it at all my mum felt the same with her fish it was hard as well so we only ate the chips. Worst fish and chips I've had and chicken burger.

I was visiting from London and i asked a local resident where to eat and he recommended this fish and chip shop. Friendly, clean and meticulous and equally importantly very good food in every way. God quality even down to the mushy peas and generous portions. Professional approach and a great menu selection... I and my family would definitely go back.

Absolutely fantastic food, been after a decent fish and chips for a very long time and found it here. Freshly cooked and generous portion. Shame I'm only down for the weekend
