Chives Deli in West Somerset

Lovely staff, good, honest food.We came to visit Watchet on a muggy day in Spring and this little place caught our eye for lunch.They welcomed the 5 of us in and saw us to a table. They have a food menu for children an adults alike.Our 4 year old got a hot chocolate and proceeded to spill it. Staff were happy to help clean up the spillage and gave us a new cup without charge.I enjoyed smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches, with a side salad.They also have a good selection of home made cakes which we enjoyed afterwards.

A delicious breakfast, followed by a lovely lunch. Great service, friendly staff, good food and competitively priced.

What a fantastic place. We were lucky to get a table as it’s clearly an “in demand” place. Had a Brie and bacon panini, large latte and fruit scone. What a treat, the food was fantastic. The service was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back when we are in the area again. The selection of cakes they had looked delicious too.

Very nice cake and coffee at good prices. The only reason for four stars is the blonde lady behind the till looked and acted like she wanted to be anywhere but there, such a shame she was the first person we interacted with as everyone else there were really friendly.

Visited during storm Eunice. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and prices were very good. Will definitely visit again.

What a lovely find we arrived with 2 dogs 1 nervous boy and 1 noisy at times. Thank you for making us welcome. Nice cream tea for two.

Nice place for a hot drink (hot chocolate and flat white went down well). The scones and breakfasts looked good too. Unfortunately we chose to have the cake which sadly was a bit stale but maybe that was not a good choice at the end of season (end of September).

Good place to stop for a bite. The food we ordered was great and came in a timely manner. Cakes were nice and chocolate brownies were seriously chocolatey (for me) 👍. Suited us as it was dog friendly and sat four of us well.
