A beautiful little gem of a place. Beautiful cream teas and lovely service. Fresh home made scones and a lovely little garden at the back to sit in and enjoy

We arrived for lunch about 2pm. It was very quiet with only 2 tables in. The Sunday lunch was not freshly cooked but reheated. The meat was dry and slightly singed. Clearly a family business with 3 generations working. All very friendly and cheerful. Decor was nicely done. It was pleasant. Free WiFi. Decent toilets. We paid £13.95 each for a 2 course Sunday lunch. The starters were fine but mains were poor.

Our visit to Cobblestones was a letdown after a great day exploring Dunster. We had only ordered two cream teas but for some reason they forgot the scones and jam.The teas arrived (vanilla chai and earl grey teabags in a pot) quite swiftly but we didn't receive the scones until we prompted them again after seeing other tables being served their cooked food.At the very least the lady who took our order was pleasant and the warm scones come a decent size. I was expecting them to provide the local Whortleberry jam but it was just bog standard commercial strawberry jam.I won't be coming back here because it wasn't even busy and we didn't get an apology either.Edit:I'm sorry the business owner could only address my minor critique about the jam and not the fact our order NEVER came until we asked them about it. This place does not know how to take feedback and it's visible in their salty responses.

Excellent cafe. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff and proper home cooked food at a very fair price. Good choice and excellent service. We will be back. Thank you.

The food was very average at best. Customer service wasn’t bad, I just wish I never ate here - as mentioned in a previous post “classic tourist trap”. The burger reminded me of 1980’s school dinners - straight out of a packet and under the grill.

Excellently placed tourist-trap. £4.50 for supermarket-quality cream tea was alright.Shame we had to wait 20 minutes before we prompted them for it. An apology for the mistake would've been nice but then again, who am I but a lowly tourist for expecting basic human courtesy in one of the most popular tourist sites in the South-West.

My friend and I on a coach trip popped into this lovely place for a cream tea and so glad we did! the scone was home made and absolutely delicious, along with cream and jam, my friend likes very very weak coffee and the lady there went out of her way to get her coffee just right, we sat near the kitchen and the staff took time to have a quick `Hello ` despite being very busy, even the lady who made the scones came for a word when we said how good they were, and what a size too not your usual round ones but oblong and so obviously home made

A super restaurant set on the high street within the beautiful medieval town of Dunster. The food has lovely flavours, beautifully presented and very good value for money.Recently, we have experienced a birthday afternoon tea and a really lovely three course Christmas dinner on Christmas day.Lovely atmosphere and extremely friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. As I write this review, bookings are being taken for this coming Christmas dinner!

Duster is a truly beautiful place to stop off. The biggest issue is that to many people do not give it enough time. Get out to the back streets and explore. When done, stop off at the Cobblestones and try the amazing cream tea. I promise you that you will never regret it. The scones are so fresh and still a little warm. The Jan and cream are locally sourced and you can tell as they are superb. This is the second time I have stopped here and it will not be the last. The ladies that run this establishment truly give 1st class service.
