Fausto's in West Somerset

Just walked out of the restaurant without eating. We did arrive 30 minutes early but they said no problem and showed us our table for two. The table was crammed in between two other tables with six people on one and four on the other. There were two other tables to seat two people and when I asked could we not sit there they said ‘no’ as they were also booked.We said no worries and left. We booked our table a month ago!!!We then walked round the corner to the bistro a Romanian restaurant where we had a lovely meal with a free meat plate to start and much cheaper!

Really good. Quality food and a very reasonable price. Staff very good and friendly. Only reason I've not gave a 5 is because the drinks selection wasn't great.

This place is great. We ate here with friends. Our daughter is coeliac and they had gluten-free pasta options available. Very family friendly.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Very friendly staff, polite and keen to please... nice atmosphere too. Starters were all good, mains were OK.

Restaurant’s atmosphere is soothing and romantic. I ordered the Salmone as take away which was full of flavour and pasta was perfectly cooked. Have to book in advance for a table as it’s busy Friday evening.

Unfortunately have to say that my last visit was an absolute disappointment. Veggies were overcooked and the sauce for the steak was too salty. It used to be a great place to go but now its something below average pub level. And costumers waiting inside for the takeaway food made it even less to feel like a restaurant. Not planning to go there anymore.

We are here in a party of six and enjoyed tasty, decent Italian food at a reasonable price. The ambience is atmospheric and pleasant. What really struck us was the warmth and friendliness of the hostess; we called up about a booking last-minute and she went out of her way to accommodate us, although they were very busy. We would happily go there again.

Had a lovely meal. Good portion size and steak done to perfection. Staff very friendly. Another visit planned for next time we're down here

Lovely lady managed to squeeze our family in spontaneously - were upfront we had an hour gap - we were not rushed at all.One chef, lady's brother helping out the restaurant - the food came out almost immediately, brilliant service - had time for desserts.Very glad we could be served, was the perfect end after a day trip. Please thank the chef.

Fantastic food, unique decor, exemplary service. I can not recommend this place enough!
