Locally sourced products, meat from a 14 mile radius, we keep it British and local. We have recently refurbished all areas and have open fires and wood burners to add to our traditional country inn, creating the ambiance in which you would expect. Dog friendly, local friendly staff, owners on site everyday, happy friendly place to be, we welcome your visit : )"

Lovely secluded pub with lovely people. We had a very nice lunch there and a Sunday roast. Both meals were excellent and the portion sizes are very impressive. Highly recommended!

Stayed at the campsite next to the pub. Had a few drinks and a Sunday lunch takeaway. The pub staff are friendly snd welcoming. The food was excellent, well cooked and plenty of it. As a plus if you have a takeaway it’s 20% off.

First live gig for 18 months, Stay Lucky, local band of oldies (my brother in law being one of them so I can say that hahaha) held in this pub last night, absolutely brilliant night, everyone was up dancing, few encores were given, what a perfect start to hopefully getting back to normal. First time there, will definitely eat next time, looked great.

I started my first work day at the lowtrow cross inn yesterday, and I must say the other workers were extremely kind, enthusiastic, great people to have a chat and a laugh whilst working, yes it gets busy but that's because it's a pub, me and the chef managed to keep it all together.As the head chef said: as long as the workers are happy, the customers are happy.It's my first time in this pub and I was amazed by how nice and inviting it was, just 1 problem though, as I'm very tall they have low pillars but that's because it's an old pub.I love the work place.I would very much invite anyone that lives in upton or around upton to come and pop into the pub and try out the amazing food.

Just wanted to thank the lowtrow cross inn for a wonderful evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food although initially looked traditional pub fare was much better. Best fish and chips, no soggy batter and lovely pea and mint fritters. Veg lasagna was lovely and the baileys cheesecake was to die for. Well done in these difficult times

This is a pub with everything that I look for in a country pub. Great atmosphere excellent friendly staff, good selection of drinks, however, most important fantastic home cooked foodHad a Christmas 3 course meal yesterday and it was absolutely superb. See the photos. I have used this pub in the past for celebrating birthdays with friends and the food has always been excellentI also enjoy the Sunday roast which is excellent value for money
