This was difficult as the menu on the day I went was misleading, had the fish and chips but it was fine just not great. The reservation had been put in on the wrong day. Will go back at some point as we didn't get to sit and enjoy the garden the weather wasn't great and maybe next time the experience will be better. The staff were lovely and very obliging.

Just popped in for a drink, then again and again! Lovely looking place, really friendly and welcoming, busy restaurant. Recommended!Update: The restaurant is excellent, we had a variety of dishes and each was superb. Well worth a visit.

Was a bit disappointed with our visit over the weekend. We booked a few weeks in advance and when we arrived, our table was in a separate room to the main bar which was slightly out of the way, with no atmosphere. The room was freezing cold so we had to keep our coats on most of the time. The food tasted nice but was over priced, in my opinion. My prawn starter was £10.50 and it was 4 small prawns, so was very underwhelmed. The waiting staff forgot several items on dishes like tartar sauce on some of our orders and forgot to bring out milk for tea. Fish and chips tasted nice and the fish pie tasted good and the steak was cooked amazingly. Just a shame the other bits weren't great on the day. Considering we spent hundreds, we didn't come away thinking we'd come again in a hurry.

Service poor as after a 20 minute queue we were told that a reservation was a must! (There were plenty of available tables, but apparently the kitchen was fully booked). I don’t think we’d have been so put out had this not been the second time this has happened this week …. The last time to a friend! Good management might mean they greeted guests and let them know what was or wasn’t available or at least display a ‘reservation only’ sign 👍 it’s a stunning location, but I can’t help thinking they are under staffed.

What a fantastic hotel. The staff are amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble, and everyone was happy to see you. The service is exceptional along with the food. Can't recommend this place enough, we will definitely be returning.Thank you to all at The Luttrell Arms. 😁

Came across this absolute gem while on a visit to Dunster Castle. Such a quirky hotel with plenty of lovely areas to sit. We only stopped for a drink but will defo come back for a meal and a stay as it has such a great vibe to it.

The nicest place I have ever stayed. Such a beautiful building, with stunning finishes and attention to detail. The warmest staff, quick to serve the best quality food and drinks, in a wonderful location. Like living in a fairy tale

Well we were recommended to stay here by a friend for our wedding anniversary, when I called and booked the room and asked one of the four poster bedrooms as a special treat for the better half as it was our wedding anniversary. All I can say we were not let down. Even the card placed on our bed wishing us a happy anniversary. Top notch and will be going back sometime soon.

I visited the Luttrell Arms on a whim while on holiday with my mum and what a treat it was! We only popped our heads in and it felt so warm and welcoming that we stayed for a pint, and then dinner! Tom, who was behind the bar, was especially nice, and made sure everything was 10/10 and we had a lovely chat with him about cider, delayed plane journeys and our trip to Somerset and Devon. Thanks for everything :)

Lovely hotel/ bar/restaurant serving excellent food. There's a residents only area and garden. The pub is also a nice place to sit and chat to the locals.I would happily stay here again.
