First time in Bramdowns this afternoon for lunch. A nice welcome was had and the food was lovely and fresh. The home made soup, mushroom and stilton, was lovely. Also had a cream tea take away to enjoy later at home. Will definitely return to this lovely cafe. Thank you Bramdowns.

Fantastic food! Family of four, we had the crumpet with bacon, black pudding and poached egg, Bubble and squeak with bacon and poached egg, a BLT and beef pasty. All home made and delicious, also fab tea and mocha. Highly recommended and we will return.

Amazing food and customer service. We had a cream tea. Loads of cream and jam. Best scones ever. Next day had home cooked lasagne. Tasted fantastic and served with unique garlic bread and salad. Next day I tried the home cooked lamb pasty. Yum yum. Well recommend this tearoom. Go there.

I cannot praise this lovely tearoom enough. Anita obviously has it in her blood. She caters for all vegetarian gluten dairy free etc.The scones are absolutely delicious. I have tried fruit and cheese ones. The frittata was very tasty. Both soups Mushroom and Stilton also Chicken and veg were filling,a meal in itself!Tea or loose tea different varieties in a pot with beautiful china. Clean tables. Beautiful toilet.I also had bubble and squeak with bacon and a poached egg on one occasion, that was as good as it looked. Well done. ✔👍

Be warned - this place will cause you distress when you realise that everything on the menu is mouthwatering and you can’t possibly order it all! Fabulous sweet and savoury scones and crumpets (the warm apple scones are particularly recommended) plus a wonderful selection of teas. Heartily recommended in a village that has no shortage of cracking cafe options.

This amazing little gem is run by the official Wonder Woman. ‍♀️. Anita freshly makes all the beautiful food, from scratch, including the cakes. She does all the service and washing up, produces beautiful artworks and has a young family (was hosting a toddler party on the day we were there...) Amazing woman. Support her and you will be inspired 😍 xx

FABULOUS & DELICIOUS. Anita took all the catering cares away from my shoulders for a 7 day retreat that I ran in May 2021. The catering is VITAL to me to ensure a successful retreat, and is not something that I have the time, energy, or wherewithal to undertake myself.I'd never tried Anita's cooking before I booked her (I live in London and Covid restrictions meant I couldn't do a trip to check) but she'd been recommended by the local tourist information as one of my options and on the phone and with the sample menu she sent me I felt like I was in good hands.I run the retreat as vegetarian and we had people with gluten and dairy intolerances - none of which phased Anita at all, we still had a fabulous, varied, heart-warming and healthy variety of meals with attention to detail and 'the trimmings' that meant everyone felt included. We were delighted - every meal was tasty and wholesome and made my attendees very happy. The homemade crumpets and cakes kept our need for comfort well satisfied and the main meals were well thought out, nutritious and delicious - and plentiful too (there's nothing worse than doing big emotional cleansing work and then being left hungry after meals - this was never a problem!)These photos don't really do Anita's food justice - I will do better next time I run the retreat - and have requested her for next year already.PS - I also popped to the cafe on my way out of town and tried one of their meaty pasties ..... I'll be going back for more of that too!
