Mullions Restaurant in West Somerset

We, Came to Minehead on holiday and walked past the restaurant and felt it was exactly what we as a family were looking for to have a lovely evening meal. The staff are amazing attentive and very pleasant. The Food was nice / ok BUT we feel it was more like pub food that was out of a bag / pre cooked. We was shocked that such a lovely place does not serve local fresh food such as the fish I had. The fish could have have been from a Birdseye box, when I was in hope of a fresh peace of cod freshly cooked (especially as we are so close to the sea)My wife had a curry that came out and seemed exactly the same as you’d receive in a green king pub at half the price.The food is ok but it could be SO much more and if it was they could charge a little more for freshness.All this said, it was not a horrible experience but we would not rush back.Only being really honest.

Amazing food and hands down the best Lamb Shank I have ever had. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and excellent staff... perfect!

Having come out of lockdowns and with venues back to full capacity I wasn't sure whether to book The Wheelhouse or not. All I can say is that I'm glad I did. Visited as a party of 3 on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was fully booked and turning people away at the door. Food was tasty and wholesome and the atmosphere was friendly (so friendly that those being turned away were being given suggestions of alternate, competing, venues to visit). Had a shared starter, and then main courses and desserts. Came away very satisfied and will definitely revisit when next in town.

Stayed in Minehead for a few day's and this place was recommended by Claire from the golf club she did not tell lies it was FABULOUS nice family run restaurant very friendly and the food was just perfect my partner and I both had Fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection for us I rate my stake wherever I go and this place is in my top 5 just Devine QUALITY

We went to this restaurant this evening for my partners birthday meal. They kindly let us change our booking time after we managed to get a ticket for a show we wanted to see(staying at Butlin’s). The staff were lovely and attentive. My daughter(16) only fancied something which was on the kids menu and they kindly made it into an adult meal for her. The meals are of a good size and they’re fairly priced. I had the breast of chicken in creamy mushroom sauce and honestly I couldn’t have enjoyed it more. My partner and children really enjoyed theirs too! The puddings were just as good, my partner particularly enjoyed his bread and butter pudding. Absolutely fabulous food and service here, we only wish it were closer but we will still definitely be making a trip back to eat here in the future!

Booked in advance of our holiday to somerset. Went with my wife, son and two grandchildren. Nice little restaurant serving great food, not the chain restaurant rubbish. Great value kids menu. Excellent service from the attentive staff. Highly recommended.

We rang on the off chance of getting in and managed to bag a cancellation. Great menu choice - I could have eaten everything, good service and very reasonable prices. Go here if you can. 10/10

A quintessentially British restaurant which is widely hailed as the number one catering establishment out of 67 in the environs of Minehead.There is a pleasant outside seating area when weather permits, otherwise inside is a comfortable area with pleasing ambience.The menu here can be as simple or as comprehensive as you want, from very reasonably priced snacks to a superb three course meal which still won't break the bank. Service is quick and attentive without being overbearing.This venue is a "must do" for us on every visit to Minehead and has always delivered and surpassed expectations every time. Happy to recommend unreservedly.
