A fantastic place to stay, very friendly and welcoming landlord and landlady Simon and Caroline. Perfectly situated on the Coleridge Way. Not phased by tired muddy walkers and great food. We willbe back! Thank you! Peter and Steph.

Hot good should be served if not on hot plates they should at least be warm. Had fish n chips not the best

Evening meal for a birthday . Child friendly. Excellent meal and service. This is not pub grub, this high end cuisine beautifully and creatively presented and cooked. reasonably priced, would definitely return

Sunday lunch a week ago. Lovely, traditional pub/restaurant in the foothills of the Quantocks, and not far from the coast. My only reservation is that we there on one of the coldest weekends so far this year, but there no fires lit in the beautiful old fire-places. We weren't cold, but it would have enhanced the atmosphere if we'd had a fire as well.We had a vegetarian and a child in our party and the landlord and staff couldn't have been more helpful with everything, both on the phone, and when we arrived. Superb Sunday roasts and a splendid mushroom rissotto (made with aged Italian arborio rice apparently). And a good pint of beer. There are shelves of books to entertain both adults and children whilst you wait for food.Destined to become one of our locals.Highly recommend. 😊

The most delicious roast I've had for a long time. Lovely ales for my husband. Can't wait to visit again

A warm welcome to a fabulous venue we had a fantastic weekend with good company, excellent food and a great room. The exmoor breakfast was tasty and a return in the spring or summer to enjoy a beautiful garden is a must 🤗

Great location for visiting north Devon and Exmoor, host was pleasant and accommodating. Our ‘deluxe’ room was very tired, loo roll holder hanging off the wall and there was a lot of dust and cobwebs hanging around. Like most places, room servicing was not an option because of Covid, but neither did it seem was there any requirements for staff to wear masks in the pub/restaurant. The breakfast was ok, the quantity varied each day , but this was explained as a ‘different chef’, no offer of a second piece of bacon! The evening menu is overpriced and when I queried where the bacon was with the burger (as on the menu)I was told it was bacon chutney, really?? The evening server was quite abrasive in her attitude to all guests. This place could be so much more, just disappointing.

Best Sunday roast ever. Best roast potatoes I've ever eaten and a very welcoming comfortable atmosphere. The manager did a great job of speaking to all the tables and we can't wait to bring friends and family along.

We have just returned from a 1 night stay for our Anniversary. We cannot fault the Notley Arms, excellent food, staff and service. Simon, Caroline and their team were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The pub is set in a stunning, picturesque village with beautiful walks on the doorstep - thank you Notley Arms
