Blown away by how nice this was. Stumble on it completely by accident after a walk and it was like walking into Hobbiton! Great vegan options too!

·

Lovely cafe not far from the harbour.Had a really tasty curry washed down with a glass of Quantock ciderMight be an idea to book, particularly if you're going to Wachet Wednesday market.

If you've never been to Selworthy Green you are missing a treat. It is like stepping back in time or into a fairy tale! We were lucky, we had a lovely sunny day & it was quiet. Periwinkle Cottage is perfect for a light bite. The staff were friendly, the menu quite wide for cake, scones & cream teas. The food was lovely. A perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Had the double scone and cream tea with whortleberry jam. I have not tried that flavour yet. It was all very delicious and a lovely pot of tea to wash it down. The whole area has a feel of days gone by and it's a very peaceful place to take a break. Lovely to sit outside in the garden.

This is the most perfect tea shop you could imagine. It's a beautiful thatched cottage in a paradise of a location. The coffee and home-made cakes were the best I've had in years. The staff are friendly and welcomed our dogs too! A fantastic place.

My mum and I sat outside on the first warm day of spring for lunch. I can hands down say this charming little tea room had both the best soup I have ever eaten (a creamy broccoli and stilton) and the best scones I’ve ever had too! We were both BLOWN AWAY and we’re still talking about it a week later. Would recommend 100%!

We came here for a friend's birthday and were blown away with the quality of food. The scones were packed with flavour and beautifully baked. I had a soup on the side which was equally delicious. Teas were lovely and everything arrived reasonably soon after we ordered. Staff were wonderful and friendly, also very helpful when ordering. Pair all of this with a beautiful location and you should have a truly breathtaking experience. Also dog friendly.

Well organised with quick service, lovely views and delicious cream teas. Be sure to give the Whortleberry jam scones a try. There are several lovely walks in the area to help work up an appetite and various "Chocolate box" cottages around the green to see.
