Stopped in for a birthday lunch, which was fantastic. Great choice of light bites right the way through to hearty meals. Lots of choice of drinks.The food was fantastic (the burger was such made with high quality meat and was delicious) and the staff super cheery and helpful.100% would visit again and can't wait to.

Sadly this very nice pub does not cater for old or disabled people very well with reference to using the toilet facilities and seating.Access to the toilet is very narrow and the single cubicle in the gents is very small and there are no hand or grab rails for anyone with mobility issues to use.In the dining area there are no chairs with arms that can be used for an old person to lower themselves down to a seating position.At very little cost some dining chairs with arms could be provided and wall fixed grab rails could be fixed along the route to the toilet and in the toilet cubicle. This would enable the pub to cash in on a large portion of the population who were old and wealthy?Otherwise this pub has been very nicely done up recently and the food we had on this occasion was good as was the service.

Absolutely amazing pub/restaurant food! Do not expect a miracle with fancy asparagus or truffles but expect to get delicious steak/lasagna/burger with rich of taste sides! (mushrooms!!!! unbelievable good!!!) In my opinion - if You are nearby (even 10 miles) -go and try!
